On the way there I tried my best to cover up my hickeys with my hair and makeup. But my makeup would either rub off or my hair would fly back because it was a windy day.
I took my makeup brush and put a little on then dried it then kept putting thin layers on and it took the whole car ride. I still had to use my hair to cover it up thought.
"I'm sorry baby" David said to me.
"It's ok. I mean we are going to meet your family and my first impression on them is in a sex addicted short brown girl. I just... I don't know."
"Baby you're beautiful and I love you so much and they will too."
He looked into my eyes and kissed me before having to look back on the road.

Once we got there he kissed me then we went up to the front door and knocked.
A few seconds later we here someone yell
"WE'RE IN THE BACK!"
So we walked to the backyard and I saw his mom and she looked so happy to see us but then there was a gust of wind that blew all of my hair back and suddenly mrs Dobrik had a terrible look on her face.
I then realized that she had seen the hickey that was on my collar bone.
My heart dropped
But David didn't notice so he led me over to her and introduced us.
I was so embarrassed but she acted like it didn't happen the rest of the night.

At the end of the night we were the first to leave so I said goodbye to everyone then the last person we had to say goodbye to was his mom.
"Bye mom, love you" he said giving her a hug. "I'll meet you in the car babe"
"Ok." I said to him then turned back to her.
"I don't care that you have a hickey on your collar bone or anywhere else,
really."she said
"Really?" I said letting out a breath while the weight was lifted off my shoulders
"Yeah I just care that you make him happy. And you do, I know you do. He wouldn't leave your side all night and he couldn't keep his eyes off you when he did leave your side. I know he loves you and I know you love him."
At that point you could see the red in my cheeks I was so happy.
I gave her a hug and said Bye.
Then I ran over to David jumped in the car and before he could say anything I kissed him.
"What was that for?" He asked smiling.
"I love you"
