Once we got home from the hospital, which was just later that day, they just wanted to check and see if Liza was fine and healthy, everybody was at Scotty's so we went there.
"We don't have to go if you want we can go to my place and watch a movie." I suggested
"No it's fine I want to see everyone."
Once we got there we went through the back gate. Heath was grilling, Scotty and Kristen were in the Hot tub, Zane Gabbie and Toddy were in the pool and they also had a movie inside.
Liza and I were relaxing in the hot tub, when Zane Scotty toddy and Heath asked if they could talk to Me alone.
"Yeah sure. Babe I'm going to go inside and watch the movie, meet me?"Liza asked me.
"Yup." I said and she went inside and sat on the one person chair wrapped up in her towel.
"So...?!" Scotty yelled
I hit him for yelling that loud.
"Not tonight I'll probably take her on a date and then do it. Or when we are both happy and in a comforting place. I want her to be happy." I said to them.
"Awwweee! David really does love her!" Zane said mockingly.
"But seriously dude when I can't keep this secret much longer." Toddy said.
" Well you're gonna have to. I'm just not ready tonight." I said and they walked away disappointedly.
I grabbed my towel and friend off before going in to see Liza.
She was just sitting the watching the movie so I gave her a hug from behind.
I felt it in me. I felt that I loved her on the inside and out. I got all warm and fuzzy. Then I picked her up sat down and set her on my lap.
It was easy to hold her she was so light. I love how small she is.
We cuddled while we finished the movie. All I could think about then was kissing her.
Since everyone was outside, I put her legs around my waist and I picked her up and pinned her against the wall.
"David they'll be in any minute now."
I didn't listen. And I started kissing her.
It was one of those magical kisses that you can't get out of your head.
No matter how hard it was I knew they would be in any second now so I pulled away and set her down next to me.
"Why'd you stop?" She asked, I could see her confusion
"You were right they are gonna come in soon."
She stuck out her bottom lip to show she was upset but that just made me want to kiss her more.
I hugged her. I hugged her so tight I didn't want to let go. I felt her smile against my neck and I couldn't help but smile too.
But then everyone walked in and we didn't even notice. Then Gabbie fake coughed and ruined everything.
While we were eating, the boys kept looking at me and Liza. I thought she say so I hinted for them to stop then they looked at their food then bad at us.
I was so mad I thought they were gonna blow my cover.
After we ate, I led her over to the couch and we cuddled and she laid her head on my chest. I think she can't hear my heart beat and it kept on getting faster and faster as I got more nervous.
We were talking about all sorts of stuff, but it got serious quick when I said
"What if I proposed?"
"What"
"What if I got down on one knee and proposed to take your hand in marriage"
"I don't know what you want me to say to that" I could tell she was confused
"I just want to know if at this point in our life would you say yes to me?"
"Yes I would babe." As she said that the biggest smile grew on my face and I could tell she was smiling too.
"Good." I said and kissed her on the forehead. Then we both drifted off to sleep while cuddling as close as we could.
