Liza's POV
He was scared I could see it in his eyes. Past my tears.
I love that about him how I can always tell how he feels.
His eyes tell his story.
"Oh babe no. I'd never leave you in a million years, but I have to go back home my dad is sick and it's bad and if he dies....
I couldn't finish my sentence I started sobbing and David enclosed me in his big arms.
I also love that about him he's just the right size to protect me from my fears.
"I'm coming with you" he said,"I won't let you go through this alone."
I started sobbing even harder.
I love him so much.
We got on the next flight and I was home in no time.
I was scared.
But he was there with me.
Later we got to the hospital and when we got in the room my mother and father were in there.
I immediately ran to my dad and hugged him. David said hello to my mom and sat with her.
Davids POV
As I sat down with Liza's mom I realized I needed to ask if I could marry their daughter so I whispered to mrs. Koshy
"I'd like to ask Liza to marry me, and it would be amazing to have both her parents approval."
She started tearing up, and I conferred her
"You are what Liza has been waiting for . The perfect man." She said
"I'm going to stay the perfect man for her. I love her and I hate to see her getting hurt. If she ever starts to cry I usually wrap her in my arms because all I want to do is protect her"
Later when Liza and her mother go out to get some food for us all,
"Hey, um... I'd like it if I could have your blessing to ask your daughter to marry me." I said
"Well I'd be delighted" he said " you're an amazing man and I know my daughter loves you. She loves you more than anyone I've seen in her life so far. You are her future. I want you to keep her happy."
"I will I promise." I said with the biggest smile.
I can't wait to ask her.
She is perfect
