I'm in love with a Bully

The Project

Okay let me explain why i am taking all this crap from Jase. He was not always a bully, in fact he was my best friend up until seventh grade. I was not sure what happened.Jase did not come to school for two weeks. He never answered his phone and whenever i went by his house he was never home.

When he came back to school he had changed. He stayed by himself alot and lashed out at everyone even me when I tried to talk to him. He got more agressive and started to bully me and other people. I got kind of scared of him and never bothered to stand up for myself. He never phsically hurt me but he has said some hurtfull things and tripped me a few tymes. The only reason i started doing his homework for him was because a month ago i snuck out of the house to go to this party and got drunk. He was there and took a vedio. He threatened to show my mom if i didn't do what he asked and that was how i ended up in this mess.

I don't know how our frienship ended up like this but i know one thing for sure, I hate Jase.

At lunch i sat with my two bffs, Malissa and Nick. Nick and i dated back in seventh grade but we were just friends now.

"Hey Haley!" Malissa and Nick said.

"Hey," I glumly state. Malissa noticed somethin was not right with me. She was one of those friends that can see when your faking a smile.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"Is that Jase guy bothering you again?" Nick asked. He frowned and clenched his fist. Jase and Nick had some kind of rivalry. They simply hated each other and competed at everything. He didn't like me anywhere near him. They even got in a fight once.

"No it's not Jase," I lied, "Just a lot of homework to do and i'm stressed."

Nick relaxed a bit and ran his hand through his blond hair.

The bell then wrang and i went to my science class.

I sat in my seat which was infortunately infront of Jase and zoned of until she said two words i hated, group project.

"You hav a month to finish it," she said.

Then she began calling out the groups.

"..Alex and Greg. Amanda and Jake. Stephaney and Brianna. Haley and....Jase."

I almost had a heart attack. I knew Jase was going to be no help in this project.

"One more thing," the teacher said, "I need proof that every one participated in the project so you have to take turns recording each other participating."

Well at least he had to help now but that dit not prevent him from being a pain in the but.
