That one phone call

Samantha's P.O.V.

"Hello? Is anyone there? I swear to god" I hang up the phone very angerly. That better not have been hunter. God I can't talk to him, I already blocked him on everything. The phone rings again, the same number. "Who the hell is this and what do you?" I say cutting to the point. "Sammy?" Hunter says gently. My heart fluters, god I missed his voice. "Hunter? What the hell do you want?" I say with more anger as I realizing who I'm talking to. "I.. I just wanted to uh.. Say that uh.. And see I how you are uh.. Hi? He stutters not knowing at all what to say to me. "Look hunter I don't know what you want but your not getting it. I don't want anything to do with you, you hurt me and you knew everything!" I say through a crackly voice fighting back the tears. "Sammy please, just listen to me" he pleads. "No hunter not now, not tomorrow not ever. Just leave me alone okay? Can't you see you've already done enough?" I ask him as tears stream down my face in waves.  He doesn't say anything for a few moments, I think he's just listening to me cry. I don't understand why I didn't just hang up then. A few moments pass by after I collect myself after crying and he says "this isn't the last time you'll hear from me ....Sammy, I love you." My heart drops, I feel the passion in his words. Then I hear a click of the phone, soon after I realize he hung up the phone and left me speechless. I won't let his get his words in my head. It was nice to hear his voice though. No, stop it Sammy, he's a horrible person. I go back and forth in my mind, my thoughts all con-jumbled. Why did he do this to me? Why am I aching so much physically and emotionally?  I can't take this.
