Part 9- Brother??

I was sitting across from Dj doing my work in the cafeteria when someone sat next to me, I look up and see Sylvester himself 

"hi Sylvester" I say smiling at him as my heart is beating almost out of my chest 

"hey Diamond, who is this" he say smiling at me and Dj but the smile was force when he looked at Dj 

"this is Dj my brother, Dj this is Sylvester" I say 

"wait, did you say brother" he say staring at us shocked 

"yeah, is there a problem" Dj says with one of his eyebrows raised 

"no, I just thought that you two were a.....nevermind, I came here to talk to you guys about Theta Nu Theta" Sylvester tells us, Dj chuckled a lil, making me glare at him so he can stop

"yeah, what about it" I tell him smiling, he looks away from Dj to me staring in my eyes smiling making my heart to beat faster, i hope he can't hear it, 

"some of the members want you two to pledge, they think you guys can be an asset to our house" he says still looking at me in the eyes with a smile

"when your done staring at my sister then we'll talk" Dj says smirking at me making both of us break out of our trance looking down blushing " and Nah Mu Gamma murdered your asses for the last 7 years, your here thinking we can change all that" Dj says, woah what? I want to join them, damn it Dj, I look at Dj with raised eyebrows

"your really cocky for a brotha that's got one trick and how do you know Diamond doesn't want to join" Sylvester said looking at me smiling, i look at Dj and he gives me a look, then it clicks I know what he is doing, he knows I have a crush on this guy and he is putting him on a test to see if he is a good guy or not 

"it's anyways been me, Dj and Duron, even tho I really want to join I can't, no Dj, no me" I tell Sylvester with a apologetic look, damn I'm good, I just wish Dj will agree on Sylvester and joinlook,  Sylvester looks at me with an understanding look but also had confusion in his eyes probably about Duron 

"please spare me man" Dj says with a smirk 

"spare you fine, the process is all aspects go through it, you want to apply that's up to you" Sylvester says getting up while dropping a paper on my lap, I quickly put in my bag 

"funny cause Mu Gamma came over offering us a sweet deal and you come up with is I can apply" Dj says making me glare at him 

"but they are ass holes, I dont feel like breaking more noses everyday with them" I tell Dj, as Sylvester smirks 

"that and if you want a sweet deal then they ain't for you, a fraternity and brotha hood of men who forge in life of bond, once you are a Theta, you will and forever be a Theta, you can go outta here leave Truth as a young educated brotha in the hood and all thats all fine and great, if you pledge Theta, your going to get the same education and you'll be a member of our life time brotha hood and if you join Mu gamma, ya you'll get a good job but they are going to treat you badly just cause your below them and if you join Theta we treat each other as we are equal and respect everyone equally, how's that as a sweet deal" he says, damn he sure knows how to give a speech, he smiles and winks at me and walks away, I stare at him until I can't see him anymore when I turn around I see Dj smirking at me 

"what? " I ask chuckling nervously 

"you know what" he says 

"oh, shut up" I say blushing 

"your lucky he is a good guy just by the way he treats people and respects them and how he looks at you, it shows that he truly loves you but if he hurts you I'll beat his ass" Dj says smiling at me

"he doesn't even know me that well for him to fall in love with me" I say blushing 

"you can see it in his eyes that he loves you, he just doesn't know it yet" he says winking at me before getting up and leaving, see that's the only difference between Dj and Duron, if DJ sees the guy is a nice guy he puts him to a test to see if he is a good guy or not, but Duron doesn't give a damn nice, sweet, nobody touches his sister or even looks at her, Duron is the over protective brother, while Dj is the chill one.
