I slowly wake up to the bright light flashing in my eyes and a joyful face smiling down at me. "So you finally wake up," a voice said. I bolt up on my feet and look around, my eyes first land on the figure that must of been the one leaning over me and talking, he was lying on his back so I probably knocked him over...by accident of course. "Ouch, what did you do that for?" He said in a jokingly way. "Oh, sorry about that," I answer as I run over to him. I hold my hand out, he grabs it and I pull him up. He was tall, taller than me, and lanky but in a cute way. He smiled down at me and our eyes met. His were a deep green, like the leaves of a rainforest. I tore my gaze away to look around, startled by what I see, lights, some blue, some yellow. Cords and tubes hanging from the roof onto what looked like the controls, but the controls of what? Realising what was happening, I spun over back towards him, realising that I was still holding his arm. I dropped it as my heart began to speed up. "Have you kidnapped me?" I questioned in an urgent tone. This seemed to annoy him as he turned around and whined ,"why does everyone I bring in here ask that, I mean, do I LOOK like a kidnapper". He points to his face and I guess he's right, his brown hair falling to the side and eyes that look kinder than anyone's I've ever seen. "S-sorry," I stutter and he looks at me with a pitiful expression. "I guess it's just a lot to take in isn't it?".I nod turn towards the door," how long was out?" I asked, wondering if anyone was worrying about me. "Oh, not that long, maybe two hours," he looks at his watch,"never mind, three hours". I stare at him wide eyed,"THREE HOURS, I WAS UNCONSCIOUS FOR THREE HOURS!" I yelled. I run towards the first door I could see,"MUMS GONNA KILL ME!". I grow open the door and step outside, only to feel my feet fall into nothing, I gasp as I start to fall until someone grabs my collar, and of course, it was the only person here.
I'm pulled back into the box but I just stand there because right in front of me was a swirl of colours, mixes of purple, blue, oranges and yellows, it was beautiful, no not just beautiful, it was fantastic! "Well....that's something," I say, still shocked. "It's beautiful isn't it," he says in awe. He seems to drift off into his own version of space, his eyes drifting around. Then he frowns as if thinking about something unpleasant and snaps back to reality. "I'm The Doctor by the way," he announces. I look at him quizzically. "Doctor Who," I question. I watch is lips spread into a wide, cheeky grin. "Oh, I love it when people say that!" He yells. Once again, I look at him, puzzled. "...ok...," is all I could say. But then it all comes back to me and I remember where I am. "Hold on a moment..." I whisper. I bolt go the door and stick my head outside, then inside, then outside again. I turned back to The Doctor and he just stared back, seeming to know what was going to happen. "It's....its smaller on the outside," I exclaim. The doctor steps back with a shocked look on his face. "That's....weird, people normally say it the other way around. 'Oh, it's bigger on the inside' they say," he explains. He starts waving is arms around and muttering random things as he walks back to the controls. "So...wait....I'm now in space after being unconscious for three hours, my mums gonna kill me and I'm in a box that's bigger in the inside with a complete stranger that has saved me from a gang of idiots....". "That sounds about right, but don't worry, this is a TARDIS, Time And Relative Dimension In Space, so as soon as you have recovered, you'll be back to your mum and only five minutes would have passed since you fainted," he cheered, full of pride like he just finished a marathon. "HEY, I DID NOT FAINT...I just...uh....I've got nothing....AH HA, I DECIDED TO TAKE A NAP," I stupidly yelled. Only after I said that I realised how utterly dumb that sounded. I'm such an idiot. I can see he's trying to hold back a laugh while nodding like he agreed. "Sure, sure, I believe you, perfect time for a nap, especially after you were being chased by a gang of zygons-". He bursts out in a fit of laugher. I glare at him. "Oh come on, don't look at me like that, it was pretty funny,"he points out while he pauses for breath. Then he starts laughing once again. I stare at him as he doubles over through fits of laughter. I sigh and allow a grin which allows way for a smile which turns into a slight chuckle until finally, I'm lying next to him on the floor, clutching my stomach with laughter. "Yeah, I guess it was pretty funny," I agree in between laughs. And we stayed like that for a long time, commenting about how stupid my excuse was. It was an amazing feeling.
