Imagine you’re driving home from work one day and it’s dark and rainy and you can’t really see much but you’re in a hurry to get home because you have plans to meet with a group of friends and harry is finally going to go with you because he usually just wants to hang out with you but you’re so happy he’s agreed to go because you’re so proud to call him yours and you want everyone to meet the man you’re so in love with and you’re so distracted by these thoughts and what you hope will happen tonight that you don’t see the massive truck that came to a stop in front of you and before you can react your car slams into the back of it and there’s a flash of light and the next thing you know you’re in a hospital bed and you’re scared and confused because you don’t really know what happened but your mom is there so you relax a bit and she tells you what happens and that you will be okay you’re just a little banged up and that she called you friends to let them know you’re okay she wondered if she should call harry to tell him because he didn’t know but she decided to call him and tell him because he’s such a huge part of your life that he deserves to know and on the other end of the phone harry can feel his heart thudding in his chest and his blood is rushing through his ears because he’s so scared for you and he needs to get to you now and luckily his feet start moving before his brain catches up and he speeds to the hospital because if he doesn’t see you soon he might collapse and he can’t believe you’re actually okay until he sees you with his own eyes and you’re still laying in the bed and you should be worrying about yourself and if you’re gonna be okay but all you can think of is harry and how much you wish he was there with you because right now you’re convinced that he’s the only thing that can make you feel better and just as you think that his flushed face appears in your door and he looks so scared and frantic and you know he’s panicking a bit because his pupils are blown wide and his deep pink lips are parted as he breathes heavily but when he sees you alive and awake he breathes a huge sigh of relief and suddenly he’s leaning over you and asking if you’re okay and you say yes and he hugs you so tightly to his chest that it hurts a bit but you don’t care as you cling to him and you can feel his chest rattling and a wet tear dripping onto your shoulder because he’s crying because he’s so relieved to see you and the fact that you’re okay and alive makes him feel like he could float away because the thought of something happening to you clenches onto his soul and shakes him to his core but you’re here and you’re okay and he can’t stop whispering that he loves you that he needs you that he should have been with you and even though he’s crying he is still the most beautiful man you’ve ever seen and you whisper back it’s okay it’s alright I love you too and I NEED TO STOP.
