•Joel's POV•

I was in the middle of my mid-day bath, licking my arm fur as I bathed in the warmth of the sun. My tail flicked around happily as I groomed. I didn't notice Ray come up behind me.

"Hey Joel!" He screeched and my fur puffed up. I saw it was Ray, the only dog-person to like like me. I hissed at him and he rolled his eyes.

"Fuck, Ray. You scared me!" He licked his arm, biting it slightly.

"I saw that!" His bound of laughter was slightly muffled. I rolled my eyes and he smiled. "Sorry." He said, panting as his tongue stuck out.

"S'ok." I purred and continued to groom myself. He licked my cheek lightly and I smiled. I nuzzled my face in his neck, purring softly and my ears pushed backwards. After a while, I pulled away and continued.

"Need help there, Joel?" He asked, a smirk plastered on his face. My face heated up.

"Time to earn a 'special treat', boy."
