•Ryan's POV•

I cut again, blood trickling down my arm. It wasn't always like this.... There was a time where I was happy.... A time where I had a wife and children that I loved.... But... They've left me. Tears stained my cheeks as I flicked the blade across my skin again. Ray pounded on the bathroom door.

"RYAN!! PLEASE!!! I JUST WANT TO HELP YOU!!! STOP IT!!" He cried. I ignored his pleas and continued to cut myself. Soon, the door was kicked down, somehow. He looked at me sadly, breathing heavily. He saw the blade and my arm and cringed. He walked to me and dropped to his knees. "Ryan.... PLEASE.... stop this."

"Why? Why should I? Everybody that I loved left me with nothing but pain." He shook his head.

"Please. I don't like to see you sad. I don't want you to hurt yourself."

"Why do you care so much...?"

"I love you. That's why." I looked at him wide eyed.

"Y-You.... Love me...?" He nodded. I dropped the blade and hugged him tightly. "I'm so happy." He pecked my lips and my smile grew.

Ray has always helped me throughout the bad times.
