The other cheerleaders think my crush on the school nerd, Gavin Free, is just a phase.

But it isn't.

I've liked him since the eighth grade. And right now, I'm a senior cheerleader in HighSchool. He sat next to me at lunch and my heart fluttered.

"Hey, Ame."

OH MY GOD HE KNOWS MY NAME!!!!

I cleared my throat. "H-Hey, Gavin."

"Ame, we need to talk." I nodded.

"What's up, Ba- Gav...?" Saved it! I almost said, 'Babe'....

"I've had a crush on you for a while now...." He stated. I felt my heart explode and my face heat up. "I don't expect you to-" I cut him off by kissing him.

"I've liked you since the eighth grade. You're the nicest and hottest nerd I've EVER seen." I breathed out.

He smiled. "Sweet."
