Twisting, twirling
Fluttering, falling
Brightly burning
Going down, down, down.
Tumbling deeper and deeper.
Collapsing from the pressure,
From the weight of being in love,
Crumbling from ardor unreturned.
Washing away
From waves of anguish.
A landslide of emotion,
Flying closer to the sun.
Then dropping into the sea,
Still blazing radiantly.
Sinking slowly
Deftly dropping
Gracefully gliding
Going down, down, down.
