Chapter five

/at the skater park

ㅡ Y/N POV ㅡ
As we arrived at the skater park, I saw Wonwoo waiting for us. He was sitting there on his board looking at his phone. "Aye Wonwoo! sorry bro", Hansol shouted. Wonwoo jumped up "Oh my god, finally. What took so long? I waited for like 20 minutes", he complained getting on his board. "Nevermind.. Hi guys", he said brofisting Hansol and Joshua, ruffling my hair. "Come on Hansol, I want you to show me some tricks", Wonwoo said excited.

Wonwoo and Hansol were on their skateboards, having fun. While Joshua and I were sitting on the bench watching them. "Do you own a skateboard?", I asked him, because I wanted to make up a conversation, since I hate awkward silence-moments with no one talking.
He shook his head and sat closer to me "I'm not into that stuff, but it actually looks pretty fun. Do you?", Joshua asked looking at me.
"Yes I do, but it broke a few weeks ago", I sniffed. "Oh.. How did that happen?" he asked concerned.

"I was driving around and some idiots crashed into me. We fell and my board broke", I explained. Joshua looked worried "Were you hurt?!", "No, don't worry. But my board though..". Joshua looked around for a second "I could help you.. fix your skateboard, If you want to", Joshua said offering putting his hand on my lap.
I turned red. "Oh, that's nice of you, b-but Hansol wanted to help me", I lied looking down. His hand still on me.

ㅡ Hansol POV ㅡ
"NICE HANSOL!", Wonwoo cheered as I did a kickflip. "Thanks bro", I said like it wasn't a big deal, even though I practiced a lot for that. As I looked over to Y/N, Joshua and her were talking. Talking the whole time. What were they talking about? He sat very close to her as well. I acted like I didn't notice as he put his hand on her lap. What is he doing?

As Joshua noticed that I was looking at them, he quickly removed his hand from her. I felt something what I never experienced before. Was it jealousy? But how? Y/N is my best friend after all. Maybe I just missed her too much, but why would I feel this weirdness inside me when I see her with someone else?

"Bro, what are you staring at?", Wonwoo asked punching my arm. "Ah.. nothing I just got lost for a second", I explained. Wonwoo looked confused at Y/N and Joshua. "Are they together?", he asked.
"No.. I think", I said.
What if they were? I should be happy for them. But it felt weird, like.. I couldn't give Y/N away, even though we're best friends. I didn't notice that I was still staring at them as Wonwoo pinched me. "Stop staring, you weirdo and teach me some tricks instead", he said grinning.

ㅡ Y/N POV ㅡ
Joshua removed his hand as Hansol looked over. Hansol didn't smile or anything. He just stood there and stared. He seemed.. kind of disturbed. I quickly turned to Joshua.

"Sorry again.. I didn't want to..", Joshua said looking down as he removed his hand. "Oh, it's okay. Don't worry", I tried to laugh to loosen the awkward situation between us.
"I wanted to tell you that.. you're very attractive, Y/N", Joshua said smiling. I blushed right away. "Oh.. thank you", I said gripping my skirt. I always do this when I get complimented. Probably because I get nervous whenever someone gives me a compliment.

*later*

Joshua looked at his watch. "It's late, should go now", he said. I nodded. "Should I take you home or?", Joshua asked me.
"No, no it's fine. Hansol will do this. But thanks anyways", I said shaking my head.
"Oh, alright then.. We should meet up again, it's pretty cool to talk to you", he winked. "Bye Y/N!", Joshua hugged me before he left.

After Joshua left, Wonwoo went home as well. It's 11:45PM, but I surprisingly wasn't tired as I'd normally be. Hansol sat next to me. After a minute he leaned back and said "How was is with Joshua?"
I looked confused at him "What?"
"It seemed like you had a lot of fun with him.. you know?"
"Yes I had fun"
Hansol sobbed "Oh okay.."
"But I would've had more fun with you, if you weren't with Wonwoo all the time", I crossed my arms.
"But you were with Joshua all the time as well, I didn't want to disturb you love-birds", he said with a fake laugh.
"Wait what? So, that's what you thinking?"
"Uhm yes? his hand was on your lap, if you didn't notice"
"Aww, is someone jealous?", I smirked poking him.

He didn't say a word or had any expression on his face. Hansol just sat there with his hands crossed bended over. I bet he was jealous, but I liked it.

I poked him once again "Aye Chwe Hansol, are you mad?"
He shook his head.
"Talk to me then", I said.
"I.. I just don't want you to.." he stopped talking suddenly.
"To what?", I raised my eybrow.
"I don't know how to explain this.. but, I don't want you to give away", he mumbled.
"Give me away?", I laughed.
"What's so funny. I really mean it" he looked serious about that.

To give me away? It sounds like I belong to him (as much as I wanted to). It would be the perfect time to confess my feelings for him. But I couldn't. Maybe he feels something for me as well? But as long as I'm not sure, I can't tell him. It's too risky. Maybe I could use Joshua to make Hansol jealous. I'm normally not that kind of person, but I like the fact that Hansol is jealous and that he doesn't want me to 'give away'.

"You know Hansol.. you will always be my number one", I said putting my hand on his back.
He looked up at me and gave me a relieved smile. "That's what I wanted to hear", he said.
I laughed and said teasingly "Don't think too much now".
He ruffled my hair and laughed.

We stayed til 1:15AM talking and joking around the whole time, without noticing how fast the time went by. He took me home and wished me good night with a nice warm hug as always. I felt so good afterwards, that I could fall asleep very quickly with Hansol on my mind.. ♡
