I'm so sorry!! It's late!! Again...... :(( but one of our chickens hatched a duckling(we had seven duck eggs that the mum had abandoned so we put them under our broody chicken) and she looked like she was almost dead, so I had to look after her :))

"Christmas time is here // happiness and cheer // fun for all that children call // their favourite time of all the year" I mumbled the first verse of 'Christmas Time Is Here' as I baked the first cake.
"Would you be quiet please? I'm trying to concentrate" says Koite, who is frantically trying to make a cross stitch cushion for her grandmother.
" Snowflakes in the air // Carols everywhere // Olden times and ancient rhymes // Of love and dreams to share" I keep mumbling.
" Quiet, please" Still looking frantic.
"Sleigh bells in the air // Beauty everywhere // Yuletide by the fireside // And joyful memories there" still mumbling....
"QUIET!" Koite says as a last desperate plea.
"Just one more verse, then no more carols?" I say/ask
"Mhmm"
"Christmas time is here // Families drawing near // Oh, that we could always see // Such spirit through the year" I finish.
