Counting down, counting down the start of a new year, new resolutions that won't end up happening, and counting down to another year of life for me, and all the others like me. I'm too frail to jump in the air. I have lung cancer. I started with bone cancer, then I was free for six years until it metastasized to my lungs. This is the first year since I was initially diagnosed with cancer that I can pump my arms to the countdown.
