The next morning, as soon as the sun's tangible heat woke them up, Sach and Kubo were out walking to the village once again, after they took care of his grandfather for a bit. Kubo had also gotten his origami figures and creations set up for his usual storytelling piece, which usually took up the entire day until sundown. He had also made some wooden crutches the day before for his new companion, but Sachairi assured him that he would be okay without them - he had only suffered cuts and bruises to his body, and nothing more.

"You live up there?" Sachairi wondered in disbelief, pointing his right paw towards the cave that Kubo lived in.

"Seems crazy to you, but... I do," he replied as they strolled down Mortal's Point and through the fields of wheat. "My mother and I lived up there ever since I was a baby, after we escaped from the Sisters and left my father behind. Now it's me and my grandfather. You got to meet him last night, right?"

"Sure did. He seems like a very nice man, Kubo."

"He is..." His voice trailed off and the two had paused midway, only a few miles toward the town. Sach could notice that a pensive expression had formed on Kubo's face. "Something wrong?" he asked.

"It's just..." Kubo tried to begin. But his mind could not come up of what to say after that. "I... I don't know. Probably--"

"The quest you went on before?" the otter suggested.

"Yeah. That."

"I'm sure you'll get over it, I promise. Maybe I could help you get you back to your normal life or something."

"You think so, Sach?"

"Whatever time I have here, I really wanna help you. You've already told me your story, and I already know how you feel. So let this be another quest we're going on - while I'm focusing on mine, okay?"

Kubo smiled and nodded. Even though he remained perfectly silent, his expression seemed to say, "Okay, Sach." Sach smiled too, accepting his silent affirmation. After a few seconds of peacefulness, Kubo interjected, "Oh! This is the Sun Village! This is the town where I tend to put on my storytelling acts!"

"We're going there right now?" the otter wondered again.

"Yeah! I can show you a story or two if you like."

"But you already showed me one yesterday, I believe."

"I did, but I wanna show you what I usually tell to the villagers. The ones with my late father in them."

"And who could that be?"

"Don't you remember? His name's Hanzo, the greatest samurai warrior that ever lived."

"Hmm... okay..."

Sach and Kubo continued walking their way towards the village, passing by the last of the wheat fields and then seeing the small buildings that stood nicely amongst the residents living there. For the young boy, it was always nice to see the audience that he entertains almost every day, and to see the village rebuilt after they began to recover one year ago. For the somewhat curious otter, it was nothing like he had seen before - seeing a small group of people getting by with each other, ornaments and accessories that were unknown but appealing to him, and a sense of a different culture than the diverse one he usually took in while he was a part of the Octonauts.

The duo then stopped at where the elderly lady usually sat to talk to Kubo for a brief minute or two, the woman having spotted them coming her way, and gesturing via hand signal to come sit with her. "Oh hello, Kubo!" she greeted them. "How's the little otter doing?"
