and i think that she could tell from my immediate scrunched-up nose and furrowed eyebrows that i was going to reject, but i couldn't turn her down when she told me she was desperate to find someone who could raise his grades.
a more than expected sigh left my mouth, followed by a mumble along the lines of, "fine, i'll do it." she grinned and clapped her hands together.
