the last thing i had expected was to see you in the library after school that day. i didn't think you'd actually show up and was honestly a bit nervous when you threw yourself down in the chair in front of me — i hadn't prepared a lesson.
"look, minseul, if you think i wanted to be here, i don't, so if you could just hurry the hell up with whatever it is, i'd really appreciate it."
my facial expression molded into an annoyed one. "it's minseo," i mumbled.
you gave me a snappy, "what did you say?" with menacing eyes.
"i said, 'it's minseo.'" i emphasized the second syllable to make sure you'd heard. you scoffed and asked me if it looked like you cared.
what i said next shut you up and left you silent for that next hour and a half.
"does it look like i care that you're failing all your classes because your pride and ego are too big to show everyone how intelligent you actually are? because you know what, taeyong? i really don't want to be wasting my time here with a push-over either, but guess what? i am, so suck it up, and just do your work."
