A/N: A short one shot. XD It really is, though.

Hiro wasn't sure what they'd been doing, but it had resulted in yet another insult-battle with Vanellope. The two five-year-olds pretty much did it for fun at this point (Van hadn't liked Hiro at first, but at this point Hiro's baby brain had figured out not to take it to heart; he had yet to see someone that Van had actually liked at first glance).

"You're scared of the dark!" Hiro shouted, sticking out his tongue.

"No, I'm not!" Vanellope countered, flabberghasted.

"Yuh, huh!"

"Uh, uh!"

"Yeah?" Vanellope responded, "Well I'm TALLER than you!"

Hiro, who had never come to this realization widened his eyes.

"No, I---" but Hiro did some quick calculations and realized in horror she was.

Vanellope looked extremely pleased with herself, however, and began taunting the boy. Finally, after Vanellope realized Hiro didn't find this "game" fun anymore stopped and they continued whatever they'd been doing before, happy to forgot whatever had happened.

13 years later

Vanellope stuck out her tongue in concentration. She could reach it! Just reach, reach, reach...

A voice behind her startled her concentration.

"You need help?"

Van stumbled backward for a second but hardened her resolve and flash a wide and obviously fake smile at Hiro.

"Nope! I got this."

Van looked back at the shelf and bit her lip before aiming her reach and---

Hit the shelf with her head and fell flat on her butt.

Hiro almost fell down next to her with laughter. He doubled over and began wiping tears from his eyes whilst Van scowled at him and moped. Hiro took the moment to grab the screwdriver that Van had been reaching for on the shelf. Van got up to begrudgingly take it from him, but Hiro held it back for a pause before holding it above his head, infuriating the small girl. But before Van could begin her rant Hiro spoke.

"Remember when we were five?"

Van gave Hiro a flat look and crossed her arms, "Well, I'd say so, considering it was an entire year of my life."

Hiro wasn't phased by this, "And remember when we were arguing about you being afraid of the dark, and then you said..."

Van didn't get what he was talking about at first but tried her best to remember it, only to regret doing so. Her cheeks flushed red and she quickly shoved her hands into her hoodie pockets, like she usually did when she got flustered.

"H-how was I supposed to know anatomy--- I-I was five!" Van objected.

Hiro rolled his eyes and handed Van the screw driver, but didn't leave without adding.

"Van, not even anatomy can explain your height."

The 5'0" ravenette shrieked and ran after Hiro in fury.
