Chapter 4

They reach the hotel in Japan thirty minutes after the plane had landed. "what should we do first?" It is Phil who is the first to speak when they reach the hotel.

"You. Made. Me. Go. On. A. Plane. For. Eleven. Hours. And. Forty. Minutes. " Dan answers back his voice all over the place.

"We are at the home of anime and Pokemon," Phil replies then Dan's eyes light up when he hears what Phil said. 'How could he have forgot that ? He loves anime,' Phil thinks to himself. He looks at Dan and he is quickly up packing.
"Phil what are you waiting for! We need to up pack!" Dan says quite loudly. They are both sharing a room with two double beds in place.

"Why don't we go to Akihabara?" Phil asks looking at Dan who just stands there in confusion "the land of technology, anime merchandise and life size character pillows!" Phil exclaims and Dan then looks the most excited he's been.

"We're about to have the most fun we've ever had!" Dan smiles widely at Phil who returns the smile.

They set off with a tour guide to Akihabara which was exactly what Phil said it was like full of technology. Full of anime merchandise, and life size pillows of almost everything.

"This is the most Japanny place I've been to yet!" Phil smiles walking about eyes widened.

"Phil you can't go around make up words," Dan sighs and shakes his head. They carry on walking about Akahabara until they start to get hungry and tired.

"Why don't we go to the maid café?" Phil asks as they sit down on a near by bench. Dan just nods. "Not a full meal tho right?" Phil then adds on.

"No point when we go back to the hotel soon," Dan answers Phil standing up. "Come on let's go then!" Dan starts to walk and Phil follows behind.

They reach the made café and are greeted by a smiling maid.
"What would you like to drink?" She asks them both as she shows them to their table. They both look over at the menus for a long moment leaving the poor waitress standing there awkwardly.

"I'll have the magical latte," Phil says to her and the maids smile stays stuck on her face.
"What animal?" She asks. For this question both Dan and Phil look highly shocked

"Lion!" Phil says with too much energy. Then she turns the Dan. 

"Same again?" She asks Dan. He just sits there with his mouth slightly parted.

"Erm. Yes but can I have a llama," Dan smiles as the maid nods and walks off.

"It's only our first day and I'm having so much fun!" Phil says in a loud whisper a smile is on both of their faces as they laugh.

The maid comes out with both their orders ten minutes after they ordered. He still had a sweet small smile on her face as she places the drinks on the table.

"Woah!" Both Dan and Phil say at the same time looking at their drinks.

"This is so cute!" Phil adds smiling widely.

"I don't want to drink it oh my," Dan stays looking down at the drink in amazement as Dan talks Phil is already drinking his drink

"This is nice!" Phil says with smile on his face. Dan chuckles at Phil and smiles back. Dan starts to drink his drink.

"We should head back to the hotel before it starts to get late," Dan says paying the bill and standing up. Phil nods and joins him.

They reach their hotel and head to the room. Dan lays on one of the double beds.

"Japan is beautiful don't you think," Phil says while standing on the balcony as the sunsets.

"Yeah, I'm glad we decided to come," Dan smiles as he starts to undress," Phil, did you pack my pyjamas when you packed my suitcase?" Dad asks as he goes thro his suitcase in just boxers.

Phil turns to face him."I'm not sure, what do they look like?"

"PHIL! You forgot my pyjamas! What am I going to sleep in?!" Dan drops his suitcase on the floor.

"You know you can always sleep in your boxers..." Phil suggests, his voice neutral, while climbing in his pyjamas. Dan just sighs and climbs into the bed sheets. Phil does the same and smiles.

"Night Phil," Dan mumbles while turning the lamp off and closing his eyes.

"Night Daniel the spaniel," Phil smile widens as Dan starts to drift off to sleep. "Sleep tight," he whispers and closes his eye to join the sleep train.
