Kelly felt like she was being followed all the way home. If only she decided to acually look behind. If she did. Maybe a life could've been spared that way.
Kelly quickly walked into her house, and decided to distract herself by going into her room and singing, not knowing chara was sitting outside her window.
Chara stayed in a corner next to the window, watching her and waiting for the right moment.
Soon enough she left the room and chara quickly slipped in through the window and hid under Kelly's bed.
For anyone else, waiting for the right moment would feel like an eternity, but chara is used to it, this wasn't gonna be her first time.
Soon enough nighttime came and soon after Kelly got into her bed, and snoring was heard not long later.
Chara silently crept out from under her bed, knife glimming in the moonlight coming from the window.
She slowly moved the knife up to her neck, and with one quick motion, she was dead.
What did chara feel when she did this, was she shocked? Scared? Mortified over what she just did? Nope. Instead, she smiled happily, knowing that was just another problem out of the way.
She quickly went to the bathroom, cleaning off her knife and bloodstained clothing.
She decided to just keep the body there, she lived alone so it would probably take atleast till morning for her to be dead.
Chara silently crept back through the window, and walked home luckily not encountering anyone, wondering why she was not out so late.
She sat down on her bed, drank a few energy drinks, and waited for morning.
She was already awake and ready to go, so she quickly walked into school, however she noticed that papy was not there today, so she decided to ditch class and try and find him.
The first place she checked was Muffet's, and she seemed to be right, there he was sitting at a booth and talking on his phone. Chara quickly eavesdrops on the conversation.
"Yeah, sorry Luna, I just got some bad news today, think I'm gonna skip today" Paps said, sounded upset, which he usually never is.
Chara assumed the voice asked what happened from the answer papy gave back.
"You remember Kelly, one of my good friends from the gang?... yeah... she was murdered last night... no there wasn't any witnesses, or atleast it seems... ok thanks for understanding, I'll talk to you later... ok bye" Papy clicked the hang up button, pocketing his phone and just sitting there.
It seemed the murder scene got found a little earlier than she wanted.
Chara walks in and sits next to papyrus.
"Hey, you weren't at school and look kinda upset, anything wrong?" Chara asked acting like she didn't hear the last phone call.
"Yeah... it's just... one of my good friends just got murdered... hard to go through" He responded
"Oh I'm so sorry to hear that, was there any witnesses to who did it?" She asked
"Unfortunately no, but if I find out who did it, I'm gonna kill them personally" he said. Chara thought his eye was just orange for a few seconds, but she brushed it off as lack of sleep.
"I know it's hard paps, here, let me buy you something" She calls over muffet and orders a few beers for them, just recently turning the legal age.
"Thanks chara... it's just that... that was the first time another girl acually... showed interest in me... not that I know why... who would care about this sack of bones anyw..." before he can finish his sentence, chara goes over, and hugs him tightly.
