AssembleTale: Chara's perspective

Chapter 6: Luna

Papyrus looked both surprised and even a little bit happier, though not by much.

"Please... don't say that about yourself... you're more than just a sack of bones, you're a great person!" Chara said, both being serious and trying to cheer him up.

"... thanks chara." He said, and hugged Chara back.

Chara could feel the redness going up to her face as she did so, but she quickly hid it by putting her hood on.
Something about that hood seemed familiar to paps, but he brushed it off.

"Here, I should probably get going, give you some space" Chara said, clearly trying to use it as a excuse to hide her blushing.

"Hey wait. Before you go, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to come to my place, we could hang out and do stuff." Paps asked

Chara started thinking to herself "Oh my God... did paps... just invite me to his house!" A smile spread over he face. 'I would love to!" She said, sounding a little over excited about it, but yet again papyrus brushes it off.

Papyrus finishes his beer, wipes his mouth and stands up. "Here, I know a shortcut" before chara could even respond they were in front of his house.

Chara acted like she was amazed, but it wasn't the first time she's seen him do it, and it clearly won't be the last.

Papyrus opens the door and you and him walk in. As you walk in you see a staircase in front of you, most likely leading to the bedroom and bathrooms, to the left was a living room and a dining room with the kitchen attached to it, as well as a door to what was assumed to be the basement.

He started leading chara upstairs but before they could get all the way upstairs they are confronted by someone wearing a sweater almost like frisks but a different shade of blue, and had really long hair.

"Oh yeah, I don't think you met her before, yeah Chara, this is Luna, my sister, and Luna this is chara, she's one of my classmates." Paps said

Chara already knew who she was, she got her phone number at the movie theater when papyrus was dialing it, she wrote it down for later.

"Oh, it's nice to meet you!" Luna said, holding her hand out"

"Yeah, same" Chara said, shaking her hand.

After a little while of talking papyrus goes into his room, bringing chara with him before closing the door.

A while passed about talking about friends and school as well as the incident of Kelly's murder.

"Here, it's getting kind of late, you should probably be heading home" Paps said, and that was true as chara looked out the window and saw moonlight shining through it.

She agreed, picked up her bags and walked home, and another night of energy drinks and no sleep follows.

Very early morning, even before school started she got a phone call, she looked at the number, and it was papyrus's phone number.

"How did he get my phone number... oh well" She said with a shrug before answering

"Hey pap..." before she could finish her sentence she hears paps voice shouting from the other side of the phone.

"YOU HAVE TO GET HERE, QUICK!"

"Huh... paps, it's like 5:30 am... what do you need me so early for?" She said, rubbing her eyes.

"IT'S LUNA, SHE'S HURT, BADLY!"
