How Lovely To Meet You

I leaned onto my chin, I was absolutely bored. These days no one wants to make deals with such an unknown demon. I groaned as I heard the time tick and tick. What surrounded me were demons talking through deals with other humans. They all wore a grin filled with evil intent. I missed that feeling. It's been atleast 30 years since my last deal.

Why you may ask I haven't been making deals like the others? Well, I wasn't well known. Which is important for such a demon as I. My name? Eligon Balthazar. Just Eli is fine. I was very very old. I can't count the years I've been awake, but its been awhile. I heard the door open and I looked ahead to see a light brown haired boy, shifting with nervousness and uncertainty. It was a lovely sight, really it was. I smiled at him with a the shark grin I had. He jumped noticing me. I waved at him.

He turned away. Aw. I kept watching though. He passed a small black card, possibly with his blood on it. That's how we demons made deals. It was fairly easy really, find a blank card, cut your finger, say the demon's name and bam! Instantly gets you a free business card to that demon. Our secretary pointed at me and said something to the tall man. He seemed a bit...sad from it? But he walked over to me anyways. He sat down across from me. Sorry, did I say that correctly? Am I seeing things? I was shocked before now I'm just excited!

It was awkward for a moment before I spoke "Hello~!" I said with my biggest grin. He jumped from the sudden voice. The deal was beginning so I instantly brought up a sound barrier to block out the loud demons around us. "H-Hello..." He said softly, his hands were underneath the desk, possibly fumbling around. I leaned forward "What's your name, darling?" I said grinning. "A-Adam.." He said nervously, I seemed a bit discouraged at his attitude towards him "Speak up, Love. I'm having trouble hearing your beautiful voice" I said motioning towards my ear.

He quickly looked up "A-Adam" He said louder, but you could now hear the shakiness in his voice. "I'm Eligon Balthazar!" I said bringing my hand out for a shake. My black claws seemed to frightened him. "Or Eli.." I mumbled, noticing he wouldn't shake my hand. Whatever! First-times are always scary, aren't they? "C-Can we just f-finish this?" He said suddenly "O-Oh right..Of course" I said smiling less broadly.

"What are asking for, darling?" I said, now more discouraged to even continue.  Adam seemed to notice my tone but continued nonetheless. "I-I want you to make my sister better again." He said sitting up now. I perked up from this "Sister, ey?" I said now interested. He nodded, I chuckled at his eagerness "What's wrong with the chick?" I said looking at him with my sharp green eyes. He looked slightly offended but went on "She's dying from cancer.." He said weakly "Oh." I said normally.

Adam looked up at me with anger "She's dying and all you can say is 'Oh'?" He yelled, I just shrugged "You are nothing to me, just like your sister and just like every single waste of time of this sick and toxic earth, you wasteful piece of scum live on, Don't forget your place." I growled back. He seemed taken aback from my answer and settled down "I can do it...But the prices are pretty high..." I said looking at him with a grin.

"W-What are the prices?" He whispered, I shrugged "It's whatever I want" I said grinning at him. I winked at him and he seemed slightly disturbed by this. Adam shifted slightly as I thought in silence "Hm.." I said thinking hard. Soul? Nah, maybe make him my bitch? Nah...I got it! I said snapping my fingers, Adam quickly perked up from the sound of my voice. I looked at him with a devious grin. "Misfortunes." I said, Adam looked confused by this "Misfortunes?" He said confused, I nodded "You will have bad luck every...two weeks on the same day" I said grinning.

Adam looked scared and nervous about it "It will get worse as time passes. Don't worry Darling, I'm as kind as I look" I said. It was actually true, I did much more harsher things to others but He seemed...how do I say this...Different? "Now, time to seal the deal~!" I said excitedly, Adam looked confused again "H-How are we going to do that?" He said. I grinned brightly "A kiss on those pretty pink lips" I said leaning over towards him. Adam eyes widened "W-What?!" He said, I nodded innocently.
