it was all happening so fast. i trusted luke. i could do this.

first a shirt was gone. then jeans. then everything else. 

it was just the two of us no one else was home.

a knock. 

luke froze in his place, hovering above me with sweat on his forehead. 

"what's that?"

another thud.

"i thought we were alone."

"we are."

"clearly we aren't."

he pulls out and climbs off of me. 

"luke?"

"just stay here."

"luke... don't leave me up here alone."

"just stay here."

i don't say anything else. 

he gets up and heads to the door. he opens it. and there is liz.

"luke!"

i hide under the blanket.

"we're fucked."

i mumble so liz can't hear me. 

"oh, um,"

luke looks down.

"uh, hi mum."

she shuts the door. 

"luke! you said we were alone you asshat!"

"i thought we were! do you really think i would lie to you, y/n," he says calmly, and i smile.

"i'm sorry i yelled," i say quietly, and he smiles and crawls back in bed with me. 

"you thought something was gonna get you," he teases.

"luke please."

"you did! you were so scared, y/n!" 

i groan.

"don't worry, love. if something comes for you i'll protect you, peaches."
