We planned that we would enter the building through the roof. Adam and Giles enter from below, Kate and I from the top. We have no idea where Lance is, but what I do know is that we're going to find him. I won't leave this building without him. He has always gotten my back, and he's willing to give his life for me. I'm going to do the same. So let's kill these motherfuckers.
Who the fuck is this stupid? There are literally windows on the roof of the building. Who even does that if you're a criminal like me? We are clearly dealing with amateurs here. That's probably also the reason why they even dared to attack my people. Everyone in this business is afraid of me. Someone bigger probably hired them, and they were stupid enough to do it. And now, they're going to pay for it. I do wonder how much money they got for it though.
I open the window and with the gun in my hands I enter the room. It's open in the middle so you can see everyone walking downstairs. There is a hand full of people.
M: 'I'm in.'
K: 'Me too. There are four guys at our level Razor, I killed one of them. Will you do the three at your side?'
M: 'Yes.'
G: 'Adam and I are waiting for the sign, everything is clear.'
I look around the floor. Yep, right over there. Expecting nothing. They're with more people than I thought, but maybe the big guys gave them some people to protect them. It won't be enough though. I sneak behind him and slit his throat. I silently pull him away and hide the body. That's one down, only two to go.
The other man is standing in a door opening which can cause some trouble. I decided to wait after the man has moved from his current place. He moves a bit to the side but not enough. The other man is nowhere to be seen so I have to kill this one first. Maybe if I use the silent gun. It's designed to shoot a bullet with a poisoned serum right in the human heart. The man falls down and I carefully approach him. Just as I grab his ankle to pull him away something hard hits my head. I fall over and someone kicks me in the stomach. As I turn around, still blinded by the stroke to my head, another pain grabs my attention. I reach for my back. Damn it I fell on something pointy. The person is standing on one leg using the other to hold me to the ground. As quickly as I can I pull out my razor and slit his ankle. He loses his pressure for a little bit but it's just enough for me to get on one knee and shoot him in his heart. 'That's what you get bitch.' I check if his radio is on or off. It's on, but not for long. After I turned it off I see Kate killing another person.
M: 'It's not safe up here. There are many rooms so we don't exactly know how many people there are. If you clear those two rooms at your side Kate, I'll do the ones at mine.'
K: 'I'm on it.'
I lower my body so if someone decides to come out they don't immediately see me. I see Kate do the same. It's funny how we kinda act the same because we had the same teacher. It's also a weakness though... We'll work on it in the future. I use the glistering side of my blade as a mirror to look inside the room without risking my life. I note that there is one person walking with hot coffee. Probably still fresh because the coffee machine is still simmering. I need to be careful with this one. After I check one last time I go in and shoot the guy before he could even acknowledge me. The hot coffee falls on his face and makes a hissing sound. I look at him as parts of his face melt away. As quickly as I can I grab the guy and hide him in the cabin. Grossed out by the whole scene I move on. One more room to go.
As far as I can see there is not a single soul in this room. It honestly is one of the most boring rooms I've ever seen so I don't blame them. I go in. Every sense in my body is highly activated as I open a door, in the room itself, that leads to... another empty room. Like, there is literally no furniture or what so ever.
K: 'Razor, I need your help. Quickly come to me. There is a room full of people. It looks like they are having a meeting or somethi...'
'Well, I didn't know you were that quick. Actually, I guess I kinda did.' A smirk appears on my face. 'I've always been quick Kate.' I wink. She rolls her eyes at me.
M: 'She's okay, I'm with her. We'll make a short plan to kill these people too and then we can start our next goal.'
G: 'Good luck.'
There are six people on each side of the huge wooden table and there are two people talking in front. That makes a total of eight people. We can't kill them all without the whole building knowing. And if the whole building knows we're probably going to die and Lance will be escorted. That means that us killing them with our guns is not an option. After sitting there for two minutes which felt like hours I finally come up with a plan that may actually work.
'Kate, I still have this.' When her eyes meet my hands she smiles. 'That's perfect, but how are we going to stop the lethal gas from getting everywhere?' Good question. I could just put something under the door so the gas stays in that room. 'Stay here, I'll be right back.'
When I come back I have a roll of plastic food wrap and a key ring with about twenty keys on it with me. Maybe one of them will fit the room so no one will know those people are dead. Kate laughs at the plastic food wrap. 'Well if it works it works.' She says still laughing quietly. 'Okay, you open the door, I throw it in there and then we seal the door. It takes about thirty seconds before the gas comes out. If we're really quiet nobody will even notice it.' She nods. My hands are sweating. We can't fuck this up. She opens the door just enough and I carefully throw the lethal gas into the room. We have to be really quick now or else the whole building will die. I can hear my heart racing. It's beating against my chest and I love it. This is better than all the drugs I've ever taken. This is what I'm living for. This job is the reason I'm alive.
'Fuck Razor, it isn't opening.' Kate's panicky voice brings me back to reality.
