Wounded and Healed

His angel fell from the sky

An arrow through her wing

The beast cried

At the unsightly scene

He wrapped her up

In his arms

And hummed a tune

All night long

His angel sang softly

Her head on his chest

Her wings on the ground

And a flutter in her breast

He leaned down

And kissed her

She wrapped her arms

Around his neck

Her breathing picked up

Along with her heart

Knowing that she

Would never want to be apart

The kiss healed hr

The softness in his touch

Forever she would love him

Oh so very much

Her heart ached for him

Her body, for his touch

She ran her fingers through his hair

All the while his chest was bare

He ran his hands

Along her hips

While she smiled and whispered

“I Love You”

Against his lips

The beast transformed

And the angel gasped

He let out a roar

The angel smiled at his form

For he was human

One from his past

She kissed his lips

For her love will last

The beast found love

And cried his tears

She was happy

Just to be near…
