Danger

She woke up,

Alone,

And deathly afraid

Something was there,

Watching her,

Waiting for her screams of terror.

She looks around franticly,

Looking for a way to escape.

She spots and exit,

And takes off on a run,

She screams when something grabs her hair,

And drags her back.

“Beast!” she screams

But no one comes.

Two guys grab her arms,

And pulls them out to the sides,

As two more,

Grabs her wings,

And tears them off

So that she couldn’t fly away.

She screams and she weeps,

Yet her love still doesn’t come.

One of them makes her spin around,

And he pushes her towards the bed,

All the while she’s crying,

Crying for her Beast.

She is in danger,

Yet he still doesn’t come.

The man rips her dress off,

And crushes his lips to her hers,

She lies there,

Being able to do nothing but weep.

Maybe this is her payment,

For betraying heaven.

He pushes himself upon her,

Upon her and Beast’s bed.

She screams and struggles,

His grip loosens,

And she begins to run.

Blood coursing down her wingless back,

She struggles to dodge every obstacle.

But he catches her,

And begins to drag her back.

She hears a mighty roar!

And sees him sprinting through the woods,

He sees the man,

And grabs him by the throat,

Picks him up,

And smashes his head into the ground.

His eyes bright red,

His teeth barred,

A scream ripped out of her throat,

As the rest of the demons begin to surround them.

Her Beast turns to the next one,

Throwing his paws in front of him,

Catching the creature at his stomach,

Tearing it open.

He’s fighting till his death,

Until he’s the last creature standing.

All he could think,

Is that his angel has been wounded,

And for that,

They shall die.

He turns to the last creature,

Bloody and wounded,

The last one over takes him,

And plunges a knife into his chest,

Through his heart.

Blood flows from the Beast’s mouth,

As he roared and yelled,

He begins to grow silent,

And crumples to the ground,

While the creature flees.

Angel rushes forward,

She cries as she covers the wound with her hand,

Trying to stop the bleeding,

Knowing that it wasn’t going to be enough.

His breathing begins to slow,

And his heart,

Threating to stop,

He manages to push a strangled “I love you,”

Past his bloody lips.

She weeps,

And weeps,

For what seemed like days,

Crying out her sorrows,

Her back,

Aching,

Torn,

And bloody.

Her love is gone,

Gone from her pitiful life.

Her heart,

Torn and killed,

Nothing is going to help,

Help her feel alive.

Her life becoming meaningless.

She stands up on shaky legs,

And glances down at him,

His eyes are glazed over,

And he stares up at her blankly.

She sent a prayer to Heaven,

Hoping that her beast has been saved.

She couldn’t return to Heaven

No more did she have to hurt,

No more did she have to stay,

She felt free for the first time…

But why,

Why did she feel like this,

Was just the beginning?
