The marionette let the door slide open slowly, the soundless void almost seemed like a sound itself.

The door was dark and felt almost erie, it definitely didn't belong to the house. Confused by the sudden change of environment the puppet shuffled in slowly, it's beady white pupils darted around. The room seemed to almost absorb all light from the other rooms, soon enough the puppet couldn't even see the previous room.
Panicking it scurried into the direction it came through, faster , faster, before the room consumes you- where is the door?

Turning its head, its face showed a grim expression, who could be behind you right now. Suddenly jumping away the marionette blasted away, no point finding a 'door' now that he's here.
Tripping on what was seemingly nothing the marionette heaved itself up, gotta run, gotta go fast. It felt like it was going nowhere; like it was stuck in one position.

No matter how far you run it seems to be catching up with slow but steady steps. The marionette shot it's head to look at him.
" I should have know it was you. " the marionette snarled, the footsteps sounded as if they were coming from all directions.

A slow sly voice echoed through the room bouncing off what seemed to be non existing walls, "what ever do you mean?" The voice rolled his tongue sending a shiver to the puppet.

It snorted, "don't play coy with me. Mike just waking up in the 'future' and having 'Cameron's' phone number, I can't believe I fell for it." The marionette could feel it's anger inside "this isn't the future, thIS ISN'T EVEN REALITY IS IT? YOU'RE PLAYING US AS IF WE'RE CHARACTERS IN SOME STUPID CHILDREN'S BOOK" It yelled pointing it's raggedy finger.

"Hmph" The figure formed dragging the darkness of the room to reveal a shadowy form, disgusting yellow stained teeth revealing on what seemed to be its face. It dragged out its hand and caressed the puppets cheek before throwing it across the 'room'.
"You're too nosy for your own good." It remarked grimly staring down, it's eyeless glaze was chilling.

Laughing the marionette stood back up, gleaming at the figure. "You're such an idiot, you've always had been." Suddenly bolting the marionette darted between its legs and towards now the quite visible exit.
"I don't think so" the figure materialised and closed the freedom the marionette could just taste.

Shorting another glare the marionette jumped onto his faced clawing and screaming at the figure like a wild animal, that took am unexpected turn. The figure screamed in agony as the wild doll clawed and hissed, grabbing it by the throat it flung it across the room and onto the invisible barrier. The marionette jumped to its feet with no time, the figures face oozed a dark liquid too thick to be blood
"I'll admit" he started as he rubbed his arm against the oozing liquid emitting from its face "you took me by surprise, but I'm done playing childish games with you" He slammed the puppet onto the ground, over and over again.

The puppet winced as its body slammed against the ground, it grabbed onto his attackers hand, tightening its grip slowly. The liquid slowly leaking from his arm again, he didn't let go.

Mike wondered around the house, something didn't seem right, everything seemed so fake; the environment felt plastic.
Where was Cameron anyway? He was with you just a few moments ago? Maybe he went to the bathroom, natures calling.
He stumbled around for a few moments, trying to walk off the sense of dread looming over him.

Was that door always open?
