Chapter 21: The Kids

( I drew mike since many ppl wanted to know XD)

Mike flashed the light on the stage, two heads popped up two girls.

Mike rushed up to them "Are you ok?" their faces horrified and shaking.

"T-They killed Thomas!" one of them whispered tears rolling down her eyes. Mikes heart dropped, one kid is dead.

"I'm Mike, I'm going to help you get to a safer place ok?"

"My Mommy said not to talk to strangers" The taller one said looking up at Mike, she was terrified too.

"I work here, I'm going to help you" Mike said his talkie beeped.

"Mike, Chica is going back in to the room your in! get the kids here now!" Cameron's voiced buzzed through

"I'm trying!" Mike turned to the kids "We don't have much time" Mike whispered, the foot steps getting louder.

The girls quickly nodded and followed Mike into the vent, closing the grate Mike threw a toy one kid left at the other side of the room as a distraction before crawling in.

Chica rushed into the room heading to the noises source.

"Come, we'll head to my office" Mike kept going keeping an eye on the kids.

"Mr? Why do the animals try and kill us?" The brown haired one asked looking at Mike.

"They never did that during the day!" the other added wiping away her tears.

"Someone very bad is controlling them during the night" He said blankly not going into and details.

"Anyway why are you here after dark? Aren't your parents worried?" he asked

"We wanted to play with them but there was a long line up so we waited till now with a friend but..." she trailed off whimpering.

"They got Thomas and he screamed... there was cracking and tearing noises, we couldn't find him after..." Her lip quivered.

"It's ok, don't cry! we're nearly there" Mike smiled weakly trying to lighten the mood.

He pushed the grate open and leaded the kids into the office where Cameron was leaning back into his seat eating a sandwich.
