He's got to be here somewhere, he couldn't have gone far... or at all.
Mike thought to himself as he looked around the small janitor room, where could Cameron have gone too? There was only one exit which Mike and the marionette were occupying.
The bear soon later gave up on looking in the small room for there was no sign of him anywhere.
The puppet looked up at Mike as he stormed out, confused also it decided to follow.
"So where'd he go?" The marionette asked looking up at the mottled old animatronic. Mike stopped and stared at the puppet.
There was a long and cold pause, He was obviously stressed out"I don't know" Before the puppet could pester him anymore Mike resumed walking, he stepped in a mess of rotten pizza and soft drinks that had fallen onto the floor, now dried up leaving a sticky patch. As he stepped through the ooze it stuck to his tattered fur. Mike growled in irritation as he stomped through the mess. Muttering as he tried to wipe the gunk off his foot.
The puppet, still keeping up behind Mike as they wandered about. there was still no trace of the missing teenager.
The mood turned darker and darker as the search continued, Mike was growing more frustrated and angry. Soon enough the animatronic had given up.
"Its hopeless, we'll never be able to find him" he spat bitterly. Avoiding eye contact with the puppet at his side. The marionette was shocked to hear Mike say those words.
"What are you saying?! Since when did you talk like that?!" The marionette yanked on Mikes faux fur "You never go giving up, Just like that! when your friends went missing?!"
"No, but they're still missing aren't they?" Mike turned around to face them, his tone grim.
"But you've NEVER given up this easily!"
"That's because I don't even know if he's still alive! Its all apart of this twisted game you are making me play! That everyone is making me play!"
His shoulders sagged with the whine of rusting gears."That's life Mike! It makes you play it! It'll break its own rules and won't make sense, but you got to push right through it!"
Mike huffed "How would you know? You spend all your time here, not out there in the real world with real problems!"
The puppet was a little upset by that comment and looked away "That's something else, But what I'm trying to say is that you need to find your friend! You can't just give up on him! Dead or alive!" The marionette paused for a moment before adding on "it's not like you live in the real world anymore either buddy"
That sure shut Mike up, he nodded slowly "...You know what, who even cares" He straightened up and glanced down at the puppet "For all I know, the crazy homicidal guy got him, I'm not going to let him kill another kid Ever again!" He snarled triumphantly
The puppet grinned "Yeah! Know lets go find... Uh what's his name again?"
"Cameron"
"...Yeah Cameron! Lets go find Cameron!"
Mike nodded and rushed towards the main hall door he pushed the door open "Come on lets-" His words fell short as looked around the room through the doors.
It didn't look like the main hall at all, Mike thought for a moment he had somehow took a wrong turn. Instead of a stage with deactivated animatronics and tables lined up in rows, it was filled to the brim with old tattered pictures and decaying remnants that could be shoved into a museum.
The lights were dimmed more than usual and more people filled the room than ever, yet bizarrely they're weren't any children, no these people were teens and adults. It was almost like they were in a completely different place.
