Evangeline's POV
I am lost, wandering through the woods and it's almost 10 o'clock. There is a pond in front of me showing my reflection. Wait... I look older, I gasp. It's my mother. As I watch,the water ripples and her eye changes colour over and over again till it has run through all colours of the rainbow. Also the colour of her lips change colour. I can hear a voice, whispering out the same words over and over again.
CURSED.... HUNTED.... DEATH....
Then something is in the bushes behind me.
"Times up" I spin around at neck-break speed. There, standing right before my very own eyes is a vampire. Holding an angel blade.
Suddenly the vampire starts choking and being raised off the ground.
"You will not touch her. you tell Lucian that I will never let him take her."
I gasp.
I didn't say that. But I did?
What?

I wake up shaking and covered in cold sweat panting heavily. I have had that exact same dream three weeks in a row now, and it still confuses me.
"It's just a dream angel" I tell myself. Not sure if I believe it or not. Closing my eyes I fall into a deep dreamless sleep.
