*AN: Yes I have returned. Yes I am also shamelessly promoting my friend's(coincidentally the friend who got me to start writing this again)fanfic, which is called Red and Gold Create Sexual Tension and is by PiperWells. It's great, and I strongly recommend you read it. That being said...story time(also I haven't written in a while so sorry if it's shit(and shorter than usual)) *

People always thought Zander was a pretty face, nothing more. With how easy it was to anger him, he totally understood.

But he was smart. Deep down, of course. That's why he was the only one to pick up on the embarrassment of the girl who sat across the aisle by herself.

That's why he knew she was Tigrera.

But he was also smart enough to know not to call her out on it. Because if he did, it'd lead to a confrontation, and he wasn't going to confront another Miraculous user unless he could snatch their Miraculous.

Which would be damn near impossible because Jesus fucking Christ, who the fuck needed so much jewellery? Then again, he did have to applaud her, because due to how much jewellery she wore, Hawkmoth would have a hell of a time finding it as well.

"Monsieur Zander, would you care to explain the difference between what's on this side of the board and what's on that side?" Mr. Kapitunik's voice brought Zander back to the real world. He deadpanned as he looked straight ahead, biting the inside of his lip during his half minute of thought.

"Nah," he replied.

"Well, I did ask so I should've seen that coming," the teacher sighed as his class laughed. Zander zoned back out, worrying about "hero stuff", as he liked to call it.

Though with finals coming up, he begrudgingly decided to return to class.

Mr. K was the real MVP in Zander's mind. Well, probably his classmates minds as well, but now that school was out for the day, their thoughts didn't really matter to him.

All he cared about was the freedom of being able to transform and not worrying about schoolwork. Not like he would've even if he had any, but at least now his conscious was guilt free.

"Pippin, stripes on!" was his rallying cry, and he couldn't help but grin at the rush of energy he got just from transforming.

Part of Zander wishes he could deny the surge of pure excitement that raced through his veins at the cries for help that reached his ears. The other part is scared, because it doesn't know whether or not he'd be that way if he didn't have his Miraculous.

But both parts agree he could go all therapist on himself later, and with the next round of screams spurring him into action, he leapt from rooftop to rooftop, heading toward the source of the sound.

When he got there, he wasn't surprised to see Tigrera and Anubis. He had a feeling they'd be fighting together a lot after that picture- even though they were on opposite sides of this mess.

But the red haired girl who was staring disapprovingly at Tigrera's teamwork with the jackal caught his attention. Like him, she was just watching the fight, arms folded as the other two beat the Akuma.

Her surprised expression when Anubis purified the Akuma was very...pleasing to look at, and he had a feeling he wouldn't forget it.

He was spurred into moving when the other bystander- what was she anyway?- leapt down to meet the two. Anubis was leaning heavily against Tigrera, who was mid snarl as Gol approached.

"-and there is no way I'm going to tell you since he just purified that stupid butterfly!"

"Tigrera, I know you care for him, which is why we need to take the Miraculous away," the red heroine said softly.

"Get him out of here," Gol said in a no-nonsense voice. Tigrera looked at the other tiger, then nodded and started guiding him elsewhere.

"Why me?" the remaining female sighed.

"Who are you?" he asked in reponse.

"Ailurus," she replied curtly. "And you are...?"

"Gol. Why didn't you help them fight?"

"They're very good with each other, and since it wasn't that difficult I knew they had it covered. Why didn't you?"

"Usually I frown upon fraternizing with the enemy," he started, the tip of his tail twitching, "but I might make an exception for you."

Rolling her eyes, the red hero folded her arms. "You're almost as bad as Chat Noir- no wonder you're on his side."

Gol scoffed at that before holding his hand out. She raised an eyebrow, and he just stared pointedly at her belt.

"I'm not giving you my Miraculous," she stated firmly. He didn't even dignify her with a response, he just lunged. All Ailurus could do was leap away, though she hadn't checked her surroundings and tumbled in some garbage cans.

The golden tiger pounced on her, straddling her sides as his hand kept hers pinned above her head.
"Are you as pretty under the mask as you are with it?" He whispered, his hand trailing down her front. He couldn't resist the urge to do it, and since no one was around, he could get away with it.

He noticed how her eyes had darted to his lips then back up, and how her face flushed under his gaze. All he had to do was take the Miraculous, and she would be free from harm.

Yet Gol didn't just go through with the plan, and now understood how Anubis had felt with the white tiger. Releasing her hands, he trailed a claw down her face gingerly.

He did not expect her to be the one to tangle her fingers in his hair and have their lips meet first.

He also couldn't find it in himself to care as he kissed back.
