Around The World In 10 Days

Chapter 1: A Given Opportunity!

I was at the mall, probably looking at some shoes. I was wearing my favourite cherry blossom dress with 3-quarter tights underneath. I had my hair loose but curled, I had my favourite pair of summer sandals on. 

I noticed a few guys standing behind me, so I moved out of the way, assuming they were trying to get to something. But the men just followed me, grinning horribly. 

"May I help you, fellas?" I said annoyed. 

They grabbed my hands and chucked me into a body bag. I screamed as loud as I could, one of the men carrying the bag punched the bag, hitting my stomach to try and make me shut up. But I only screamed louder! 

After what seemed like forever of screaming, I was loaded into a car, as we drove away, I could hear people panting behind us. All I thought to myself was: Why am I being kidnapped? Why today? Why me?

Soon, I heard the car stop, the men got me out of the car, and carried me somewhere. I felt scared! 

Then I felt the men put me down, open the body bag, and carry me out. I saw a lady with long brunette hair, dark eyes, and was wearing a business outfit. She looked at me happily to see me. 

"Oh boys, I told you to be gentle with her!!!!" The lady said angrily, looking at the way my hair looked, and by the way, I was still holding my stomach. 

" Are you alright?" The lady said, extremely worried, sounding like my mother. 

"Yes, I'm fine" I lied, looking at the guy that punched me when I was in the bag. 

"Sorry about these men, so rude!" She said, looking at the men like a sassy queen. 

I chuckled a little. 

"My name is Rosie, I am the business manager of the travel program," Rosie said, understanding that I was still lost and confused. 

"I'm Tiana," I said politely. 

Rosie took my hand and showed me around the building, telling me all about what the travel program is about. I stopped when she told me about love. I told her that I don't know what love is and that I am a disappointment when it comes to love. Rosie told me that, this is why they have built this program, for people like me to find their true love. I was shocked when she told me because, I thought I was the only one who suffered this. 

We then stopped by Rosie's office. I sat down at one of the comfy office chairs she had for guests. She told me that she chose me to go on a 10 day trip all around the world. I was excited by the sound of that!!! She told me that my flight leaves in 3 days as she handed me my boarding pass. I was so excited! I thanked her and gave her a warm hug. I then planned on my phone, what I was going to bring, I checked the weather in the countries that were listed on the boarding pass. First up, BRAZIL!!!
