He laid on his face with his arm twisted over his head and his other arm hanging off the bed perfectly...! (kinda like if he was doing a backwards dab...) and his legs seemed to pretty much have given up on life because they were... I don't even know, the worst ballet dance ever... (they aren't even moving, that's how graceful this is!) He was apparently in harmony, sleeping peacefully, until, loud noises grew around him, he opened his eyes, black, he turned to his back, still pitch black! He shot up making sure it was still reality, like a pinch myself I must be dreaming, except he WISHED he was dreaming, still awake, I don't even know why, but still... He walked to jack's room where he still laid there lifeless, sleeping. Then he heard a noise, a slight tapping on his door he ignored the tapping, it so turned into knocking he slowly stomped his way to the front door, his loud stomping echoed through the small apartment. He opened the door that leads out to the hall "hey! William, oh my! Do you know what just happened!" The small voice whispered, "Chris is that you? What are you doing here? What time is it? What happened?" William looked at the other side of his room to read the small LED clock that showed nothing, "William, you need to stop asking questions and listen!" William grab his arm and pulled him into the house. William when to turn on the light, he flipped the switch a click whet off but nothing happened. "Okay what is going on!" "Can I tell you! The city has a power outage everything is off, nothing is working." William nodded his head as he angrily flipped the switch "William, you're going to break that you know!" "I honestly don't care! Why is there a stupid power outage all of the sudden!" He ran to his closest and dug through it he grabbed something and tossed it to Chris, Chris miss it by a mile "what in the world was that!?!" He heard a few clicks "damn flashlight won't work! Where is my candles!" He dug through the closest searching for anything that admits light. He looked around biting his nail. He whet to walk to his room, he slammed the side of his right leg straight into the edge of his uneven glass coffee table, the sharp glass corner pierced the leg, he gave out a sly Yelp, he grasped his leg he felt trickles of blood as they slowly ran down his leg. "Are you okay?" "Yeah Chris, can you grab the flashlight this hurts so bad!" He  looked around the room for the thing William tossed at him earlier. His hand soon felt a small cold tube near a small wooden table next to the chair, he grasped the flashlight, his fingers felt the button to turn it on he clicked it, nothing happened he banged it on the table, the light flickered on "Yeah!" He yelled as he shined the light on William "oh my your hair is everywhere!" "I know, I don't trust my hair unless it's been dealt with. Now give me the flashlight!" William stand up he took a small step, small pain tickled though his leg, a volt of ache shocked him like electricity. Chris handed him the flashlight. William walked to the bathroom he opened up the small cabinet and grabbed a box of band aids, he covered the damage and stand back up. He shined the flashlight around looking for something but he didn't know what. He tried to remember, "what on earth are you doing!?!" Chris yelled "looking for something!" "What?" "I don't exactly know." William said turning off the flashlight and shoving into the huge pocket in his sweatshirt "You are just freaked out, okay? Here I want to show you something!" Chris insisted, William shrugged his shoulders, "Okay." William soon mumbled slipping on a pair of pink fuzzy slippers, the pile of fluffy mess covered his feet, Chris grabbed the sleeve of William's sweatshirt and dragged him out the door, he grabbed the handle shutting the door on his way out. "Where are you bringing me?!?" "You'll see!" Chris shoes pattered against the wooden stairs as he dragged William to the top floor. Chris slammed a door open leading to the rooftop of the apartments. William looked over the quiet city "oh my god..."

He looked at the pitch black city, everything seemed frozen in time. Hot air over lap his skin. It was still and peaceful. He stand at the edge of the building and looked over the city, bright stars glowed from the sky, the moon in the sky was clear and crisp. He sat on the low railing as his legs dangled over the ledge he studied the city, he felt free like nothing was controlling him. He leaned over and looked at the rushing cars below him that were trying to get home, Chris grabbed William's shirt and pulled him back, William fell back and slammed his head on the hard concrete roof, "what was that for!" He freaked as he rub his back "you... you could have fall!" Chris sputtered "no I wouldn't!" He yelled he sat up wrap his arms around his legs and set his head on his knees, Chris sat next to William and gave him a hug, "what's wrong?" "Nothing." William said pulling away from Chris "okay then?" William sat there looking up and soon lift himself up and looked around "okay, I want to go back to bed." He said "typical..." Chris muttered, "Race you!" He yelled as he took off running, "what! No fair, get back here!" Chris yelled. William slammed the door open, the scorching hot air from inside the building was real intense because all the AC was shut off, his feet ran as fast as he can, until one of his slippers flew off, he quickly bent over and picked it up, he hop down the steps trying to take off his other slipper, he quickly bashed the door open and dived onto the small couch. "I win!" he shouted "good for you." Chris puffed "how are you so fast! You're... You?" William raised his eyebrow knowing what he was meaning "not everyone can be as skinny as you!" William hissed. Chris seemed to gather up his stuff he brought (which was nothing more then some keys and a jacket.) and quickly took off, William laid on the couch once again looking at nothing as he fell asleep.
