Poem 33. Promise You'll Stay

You know what happened to me
when you told me
that you couldnt risk everything,
to have any more moments like this.

Then you have to go and say
that if you knew you could get away with it,
you really would like to see what this really is,

Cuz we know our instincts don't lie
But For now, I'll wait.
I want us to be in each other's presence forever.
I'm willing to try.
You know that there's no turning back. I want you in my life either way.

Promise you'll stay.
