Everyone around me was happy with the turn of events between Lucas and I. Though none of them were surprised. I had thought I would get some kind of reaction from my family atleast, but then they reminded me that they had been present on the day he told me he liked me and as my dad said and I quote, "What the hell did you think we thought would happen next?"
The girls though didn't disappoint as I woke up with texts asking anything and everything, inviting themselves over for celebration. Lana dropped a congratulations message along with a 'You better not make out with him when I am around'. She had her priorities straight.
Monday came around and I couldn't keep the smile off my face when I saw Lucas waiting in the parking lot, leaning against his car, looking like a star.
"There you are," He voiced as soon as he caught sight of me.
"Did you wait here for me?" I asked as I reached him, stopping in front of him.
"I sure did. I wanted to see you first," he replied pulling me by the waist, making me stand between his legs.
"That sounds so chessy," I returned before placing my lips onto his, the one thing I had been wanting to do again ever since saturday.
"Oh trust me I know. Lana made sure I did, but eh," was all he replied before bringing me to him again.
Separating we made our way into the school, hand in hand. No one really seemed to care apart from a few guys who clapped Lucas on his back giving me a grin.
Reaching my locker I turned to talk to Lucas, but the girl brigade arrived as always, wearing grins of their own.
"The lovebirds are here," Chrisee exclaimed, throwing her arms around us. Well trying to throw it across Lucas. He was tall.
"Hey girls," Lucas replied as I got on to hug Chrisee who realised she couldn't reach Lucas.
"How does it feel to finally be able to hold her?" Paige asked winking at him.
"So good," It was Chrisee who replied in his place, still holding onto me.
"If I didn't know you were in your own relationship, I would be so jealous," Lucas said to Chrisee.
"Sure and the fact I don't swing that way doesn't factor in at all," She replied rolling her eyes.
"Everyone wants to experiment. That's how you know for sure," Lucas replied shrugging.
"True that."
"I knew there was a reason you chose him to be your boyfriend," June added her two cents.
"You are saying that as I was on the bachelorette," I replied, opening my locker, getting my stuff.
"Well if you were, it would be pretty interesting," June returned.
"Imagine her sitting there gazing on to nothingness," Paige added.
"Ok I am leaving before this becomes weird. I'll see you in maths ," Lucas said bending down to give me a kiss on the cheeks, before waving to the girls, walking away.
"Now this is what we won't get to see on the bachelorette, Vi's pink cheeks," Lavender said pulling my cheeks.
Promising to continue the wierd conversation during Lunch, I made my way to Maths. The day was fun to say the least. Lucas found it adorable to place kisses on me any chance he got. Though I had no complaints.
Lana was a delight in English naming numerous way to tell me again she better not walk in on us making out. For example, one of them was, "You guys are studying Physics in the kitchen, you get an answer right, you get excited, you kiss him, he kisses you back, you both get it on, I enter the kitchen to get something to eat. Now you see my virgin eyes should not see this. So no making out."
This was one of the possible scenarios she put forth. Rest were too impossible to believe, like making out while having dinner. Like girl, I ain't giving up food for him. And I also was 99% sure she wasn't virgin or had virgin eyes.
"Stop before I pull that tongue out," I had threatened.
Lucas joined us in Lunch for about 10 minutes before I shoved him towards his friends.
(I really should get to know about them.)
"What a loving girlfriend," he remarked placing yet another kiss before leaving.
"I am the best," I replied back.
"You sure are a loving couple," Chrisee remarked and I blushed, but what the hell we deserved it.
The most amusing turn of events were in Chemistry. Even as Will had given his all okay for Lucas and I, I felt kind of awkward about it. Which lasted about 5 mins before Will tackled me in a hug. That dissipated all the awkwardness but made me feel like I was dying.
(The dude was heavy.)
"Will could you stop breaking my bones," I forced the words out.
"Oh sorry Vi. I didn't think of that," He said pulling away.
Rest of the class was spent discussing various things, completely forgetting any odd feelings.
End of the day I met Lucas at my locker waiting for me.
"Did Will tackle you for a hug too?" I asked as I started putting my things away.
"Yeah, he was happy," Lucas replied laughing.
"So I was thinking how about you come over Wednesday? Stay for dinner?" He asked pulling his arm around me as we walked out.
"Uh sure I guess," I replied sounding unsure. Not that I didn't like his parents, but it would be my first time meeting them as his girlfriend and that had me nervous.
"It's going to be alright. Nothings changed. They'll be rejoiced actually," He reassured me reading my thoughts.
That eased some of the nervousness, making me laugh. As we made our way out I started prepping for the coming dinner with the Dorbeaks.

So this is everyone's reactions. A filler chapter and quiet sappy, but eh I like it. Also the Lunch thing was bigger but then I got lazy. Maybe I'll add more when I edit.
Also while checking it once, I noticed I wrote "put his shoulder around me" and laughed for 10 minutes straight. I was very sleep deprived
Only a few chapter left. 2 more and then it's done. I am so sad and yet proud too. So yeah
Fun fact: My sister and my friends had the exact 'its not a big deal you got together' reaction when I had my first boyfriend. They suck.
