Mordeson Oneshots (Mordecai X Benson)

Chapter 1 - Sleep

Benson walked downstairs, black bags underneath his eyes from lack of sleep. His entire body ached and he just wanted to get home, get away from all the paperwork and Mr. Maellard yelling at him for the duos stuff ups.

Just as he reached the door, he saw Mordecai asleep on the couch from the corner of his eye. Oh right, he remembered, Rigby’s attitude. Benson watched the blue jay for about a minute, until the avian slowly opened his eyes and a lazy smile spread across his lips. He spread his arms out, an offer to come and lie down with him. The gumball machine glanced from the door to Mordecai and a hesitant thought crossed his mind. Would it be alright to just have a quick nap? He could feel the blue jay watching him and with a sigh, he walked to the couch and fell into the avians open arms, shifting so he was facing him as the blue jay wrapped his arms around the gumball machine and held him close.

Benson closed his eyes and listened to the soft snores of his employee, who’s eyes were now shut but the smile was still there. The gumball machine smiled as he snuggled in Mordecai’s chest but he quickly realized that sleep didn’t come as quickly as he’d hoped despite him being exhausted from the day. After going through the well known ways to help him sleep, he decided to think about how Mordecai was always there for him and it made his heart warm when he felt Mordecai’s body pressed against his.

Benson felt his eyelids begin to droop as thoughts of Mordecai began to cloud his mind. He tried to fight it but he soon realized it was hopeless and with the avians arms around him, he fell into sleep.
