I Just Can't Stop

The Dreaded Announcement

Link and Zelda keep talking about Hilda and Ravio actually being together.

"This is too exciting Link!" Zelda squeals while bouncing up and down.

"I know right?!"

Meanwhile in Lorule Castle...

"Who are you?" Hilda asks as a man walks in.

"Ah, Princess Hilda. You look as beautiful as I imagined!"

Hilda narrows her eyes.

"I am Prince Mandias, the Prince of Phonaliana. I have come to ask for your hand in marriage."

Hilda's narrowed eyes widen. "What?!"

"Yes. In fact, you have to. You're the key to settling the fight between our kingdoms...

"Fight? I've never heard of a fight going on..."

Suddenly, the prince pulls out an amulet. Before Hilda can react, he puts it around her neck.

Hilda feels a strange energy in her. Her head is pounding. Then she stands straight up.

"Princess Hilda, will you marry me?" Mandias asks.

"Yes..." Hilda says slowly.

Mandias smirks. "Great."

"..." Ravio, who is standing at the door, is speechless and heartbroken. He drops the flowers in his hand and runs away, tears streaming down his face.

'She said yes...' he thinks to himself.

Ravio stops running as rain starts pouring down. He sits at the bottom of the staircase, hugging his legs.

"T-This can't be happening..." he sniffles.

Ravio then stands up. Through the pouring rain, he slowly walks towards the rift to Hyrule.

"Hey Ravio!" Link calls as he sees Ravio, who's dripping wet.

"...Ravio...?" Zelda asks.

Ravio clenches his fists and grits his teeth. "Link...Zelda... Hilda...is getting married."

Zelda gasps as Link's jaw drops to the ground.

"WHAT?!?!?!" Link exclaims. "THIS IS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Zelda screams.

"It's true..." Ravio mutters. "There's no way to stop it..."

Tears begin to stream down Ravio's cheeks. Link and Zelda put their arms around him and lead him inside.
