Chapter 4: shinigami Ek, explanations.

Ek looked at Y/N as she swung her legs on the swing sitting down.
"So.... what are the rules? Exactly?" She asked in a curious terror.
"Apprentice Note, how to use it: I "
"The human whose name is written in this note shall die."
"The human who uses this note will be considered as an apprentice shinigami, or shinigami in training."
"The human who uses this note can not be killed by a Death Note."
"This note alone will kill it's owner."
Y/N looked board. "I already know about that... also, your handwriting is terrible." She frowned.
"Shi Shi Shi... you should see Ryuk's..." Ek snickered.
Y/N scrunched up her nose. "No thanks." She sighed, "now please explain what I don't know." She asked.
"Fine fine, how to use it; II"
"Unlike a Death Note, an appearance note has a predetermined page count."
"To kill, the writer must have the person's face in their mind while writing it, there for, people sharing the same name will not be affected."
"While this note may share similarities with the death note, it is not a Death Note."
"How to use it; III "
"To truly become a shinigami, this note is required."
"The owner of this note must earn the death Pen by completing over three quarters of the Apprentice Note."
"The owner of this note will be possessed by a God/goddess of death until He/she completes the note or dies."
"This note can not be passed from human to human, should that occur, the human who is not the notes owner will die."
"How to use it; IV "
"The owner of this note will be incapable to speak of this note with, or around other humans."
"The only way the owner of the note would be able to tell another human is if they also own a note book of death, apprentice note or death note."
"If the cause of death is written within 40 seconds of the person's name, it will happen."
"After writing the cause of death, details of the death should be written within the next 6 minutes and 40 seconds."
"How to use it; V "
"This note is severely restricted to how much the writer may write per page."
"The writer may not kill one person using mutable pages of the note."
"This note is indestructible unless destroyed by a shinigami or swallowed by its owner."
"The human who uses this note can go to neither heaven nor hell, only to the shinigami realm."
"How to use it: VI "
"Most shinigami, do not recall their use of the Apprentice Note, let alone the existence there of."
"After the first use of the death Pen, the owner of the note will obtain shinigami eyes of their own."
"The owner of this note, can not give it up, should they try, they will lose all memories of this life and awaken in the shinigami realm a blank slate."
"The owner of an apprentice note will gain the death eraser upon their fifth killing using the shinigami eyes."
"A shinigami doesn't know everything about the note."
"That is everything that the great shinigami, or the shinigami king, told me about the note, well... for the most part... I'm sure you'll find out the rest before you die.. if you're lucky." Ek snickered.
Ah yes, there were more strict variables to the Apprentice Note then to a mere death note.
But what Ek failed to mention was the first rule, 'the apprentice note was the first ever death note, created to save their spices from extinction.'
Yeah... she'll probably never tell anyone about that one.

He looked at his puzzle, on it was a sketch of his new Roommate.
"Snoopy... Hugh..? I wonder what your puzzle will look like once I have solved it." He pondered aloud with a small smile.
"I suppose, that it will be me to solve the puzzle of who you really are." He grabbed the puzzle and tipped it over to start putting it together once more.
Matt walked in and saw the puzzle Near and Snoopy had first solved together, and neglected to put away, sitting completed in the middle of the room.
"Now... near... can you please tell me why you have a puzzle of my best friend in your room..?" He asked slightly creeped out.
"As I told my new Roommate, Snoopy, before, I don't actually know." Came Nears honest answer.
"Oh... well, I'm here to fetch you, the food court are serving F/F, it's been forever since they served anything decent!!!" Matt complained.
"Fine." Came Nears reply as he got up to follow.
