chapter: 6 B-day special Dedicated to @AmilaLove

Y/N was having a heated debate with Ek about wether or not to use the apprentice note... Ek was basically nagging at her to kill people, and do it creatively.

They were in the play ground, The girl looked at the shinigami, "I cannot use this note. If I did that, I would condemn myself to your world!" She shouted.

Ek looked at Y/N and sighed. "Fine, I'll shut up, just gimme jelly beans, and all's fair... Shi Shi Shi..!" Ek bargained.

Y/N rolled her eyes at the shinigami's behaviour. She then strolled back into whammy's house to do something.

She was making near a present for more or less being her friend, a near finger puppet! Little did she know, L had decided to tell his white haired successor of her date of birth, though that was all he told him.

The girl continued sewing/cutting and gluing the puppet together.

Elsewhere, ""near"" was looking at a small note pad he had written his findings about ""Snoopy"" 'H/L, H/C Hair and E/C eyes, S/T skin and about five years old, turning six. Like's: F/F, F/D and (favourite animal) F/A's. Note: she also likes to be left to her own devices... dislikes: M/H/F, (place random dislikes here). And being called stupid.

He continued to think about it, he had made sure to keep the months and day a secret, he hadn't let the girl near a calendar for over a fortnight, going as far as hiding the calendars.

L had told near over the monitor from an investigation in Italy, that if their going to keep up the front that Wammy's house was JUST an orphanage than they would have to throw a birthday party, well beyond the normal parameters for the inhabitants.

Near had asked mello and Matt, along with another kid called Hopeless.

Snoopy had never met Hopeless before, or his identical twin brother Hopeful.

So, when she spotted a boy with mismatched(left forest green, right chestnut brown) eyes and orange brown hair, she had a confused face.

Then when hopeful came in and introduced himself too... (hopeful were's a Halloween ghost costume with white pants and white shirt under, Hopeless were's a black hoody with a black skull shirt under and pants.)

"HELLO!!!! I'M HOPEFUL!!! THIS IS MY IDENTICAL TWIN BROTHER HOPELESS!!!!! NICE TO MEET THE -*A hand covers his mouth*"

"I apologize for my brother... he's a numb skull... we are seven years old, we'll be turning eight next month on the nineteenth." Monotone all the way... he spoke while holding his brother's mouth closed.

Ek looked at the two brothers for a moment and then burst out laughing, seriously, a human would probably loose their lungs if the attempted such a fit...

"Oh, they really are identical!!!!" Ek shouted only to earn slight confuzzlement from Y/N.

another time skip~ (sponsored by the authors unhealthy obsession with chocolate, sweets and anime.. calculation too...)

Y/N was in the office, talking to Mr panda once again. "Hello Y/N." He said quietly '''drinking coffee'''(eating coffee dipped sugar cubes actually...).

"Yo. Mr panda, it's been three months." Y/N said board.

The man then began to eat some stacked panda shaped treats. "Wow..." Y/N muttered quietly.

"Hmm?" ""Mr panda"" asked.

"I didn't know you were a cannibal..." the girl stated.

Mr panda (L) turned sharply and looked at the young girl. "I'm not a real panda and these are just panda shaped treats from Japan... so it's not cannibalism." He reasoned.

"Right!" In one ear out the other from Y/N.

"But it's still not right!!! Panda snacks have feelings too!!!" (Keep in mind reader is only five now six)

Mr panda (L) sighed.

Keeping the girl distracted would be a chore...

Later~ (provided by my contact in Japan....... I won't mention that person again though..... your heard NOTHING. ^^')

Y/N walked in, and saw a banner on the floor with some weak kids trying too pull it up, that had the words 'Happy birthday Snoopy!' Badly written in Brown towards the end... (they ran out of paint... mello decided to use chocolate because he didn't want to spend his allowance on paint, he decided it was cheaper as he lost the bet.)

""Snoopy"" awkwardly coughed.

The kids lined up. Hopeful was mopping about not being able to finish, Hopeless was actually smiling because he didn't have to baby sit his older twin.

"Ehh..? What..?" She gestured around, "is all this?!" She asked.

Que the fidgeting.

So they explained that they were actually doing a surprise party as it was her Birthday.

They apologized for the confusion.

Hopeful and Hopeless gave the girl a kitten plush.

Matt just gave her one of his spare old games and spare old consoles.

Mello gave her a quid.

Near handed the girl a box, a small one granted, but in it, was a puzzle.

She completed the puzzle later that night....

It was the picture of a F/A (favourite animal and it looks like you to an extent) and an albino sheep in a grey heart.
