Luke's P.O.V

We finally pulled into the driveway of my house. I tapped on Juliana's shoulder to notify her that we've reached our destination. She looked over at me with her usual beautiful smile and opened her door to get out of the car. I did the same as I walked up the driveway, following behind Juliana to the front door. I unlocked the door and Juliana immediately walked in and to the living room.

She started to run away from me yelling "you'll never catch me!" I laughed lightly as I started to run after her. She squealed as I was beginning to catch up to her. God... she's so perfect. She then started to run up the stairs, so I chased after her and eventually caught her small frame in my arms. I wrapped my arms around her and picked her up . I walked us the rest of the way up the stairs to my room and placed her on my bed.

She flopped back onto the bed and giggled slightly. "You're actually pretty fast Lucas, it's probably those fine ass legs" she told me, sending a wink over. "You're obsessed with my damn legs" I said and groaned. "Hashtag leg goals!" She said. She knew exactly what she was doing, she knew I hated when she talked about how 'great' my legs were.

I then did the best defence I could come up with, and that was to lay on top of her completely. I heard her groan "Lucas get the hell off of me before you don't have a pair of balls anymore". "Ha, you can't do anything right now sweet cheeks!" I then lifted my arms and legs, making sure to put literally all of my weight on her. "LUKE YOU BITCH" the yelled and groaned at the same time... If that was even possible.

She them started to push my face away, causing me to fall off the bed and land on my back. "Ow!" I shout as I send a death stare over to her. She giggled once again and got off the bed to where I was and hugged me tightly. I didn't hug back, as I was trying to stay mad at her, but when she hugged me tighter and buried her face in between my neck and  shoulder, I couldn't ignore her. I wrapped my arms around her in return and started to whine like a 5 year old. "Oh c'mon Luke it's not that bad" she complained as I was still whining. God, I can be annoying sometimes.

"Hey Luke, I'll microwave some pizza pockets!" She said already turning to leave, and by her saying that, I immediately stood up and grinned at her. "You're a genius Juliana, this is why you're my best friend". I wish I could call her more than a friend, but I need to get it through my head that she won't like me like that, I mean, we have been inseparable since we were like 8?

I watched as Juliana exited the room to go downstairs to the kitchen. I stopped and waited for a while, I knew i shouldn't have feelings for her but....It's just....Her smile could light up anyone's day, her laugh is so magical and calming, her features are so beautiful, her personality is so sweet and kind, but also a bit sassy. I honestly don't know how I managed to find someone like her to be in my life at all and I'm not going to ruin it by asking for something more.

Our friendship is stronger than my parents marriage for goodness sake. If I were to make a move, a move that friends wouldn't make, i would be sacrificing an important friendship here. I don't want that bond that we have to finish, for instance, if something were to happen in the relationship, like a fight maybe? Or a small disagreement? Or our families not accepting us being together? I may be overthinking, but these theories have high possibilities. I just like her so goddamn much it's actually getting a bit insane.

"Luke! The pizza pockets are ready! Get your ass down here" I hear Juliana shout from downstairs. "Okay, okay! I'm coming".

As I'm walking downstairs to the kitchen, I see Juliana sitting on one of the bar stools with a look of confusion on her face as she looks down at her phone. "Juliana? What's going on?" I ask. "You know that Ashton kid from the school down the road from ours? The guys that Calum and Michael know through FaceBook? Well he just messaged me asking if I could meet up with him sometime soon" Juliana replied. As soon as she said that, I felt anger and jealousy inside me, trying to take over my body.

"Ashton? Hell no, I heard he's quite dangerous actually" I lied as I scratched the back of my neck. "Lies, Ashton goes to a private school. You know, where all the smart and loving people are? You know i bet he is really hansom and strong", She pretended to flex and act strong.

"Juliana" I let out a sigh "do what you want, but please please please don't forget about me if anything happens between the both of you" i pleaded to her, getting slightly more upset.

"Luke" she said sounding surprised "of course I won't forget about you, you're the first person to ever actually care about me, and you're the best friend I could ever get" damnit... That word again; Friend "I love you" she ended her rant with her signature heart warming smile and a hug.

"O-okay Juliana, I love you too" more than you know, I replied back smiling at her and hugging her back. She thinks I'm being like this because I'm scared we will lose our friendship, but it's so much more than that. Little did she know...

"Well Luke, I have to go now. It's starting to get late and I have to make myself dinner" she paused "again". I bet she's so sick of being alone all the time.

"Sure okay. I'll see you tomorrow right?" I reply back giving her a big hug as if this was the last time we were going to see each other again.

"Of course" she said lastly while hugging me back with a cute smile. "Well bye Lucas" she said as she opened the door to leave. "Bye". And that was it, she was gone. I think I'm seriously catching feelings for this girl.
