Day after day passed by, and Logen was still weak, but he got stronger every day. He was never really in to Sarah. He'd rather question her and tried as best as he could to make her look guilty. She didn't even try to stop them. Every conversation ended up with a fight. Henry didn't do a thing to make them quit. In his view, they had to face it on their own. Yes, it sounds pretty unfair. I mean, ghost vs a boy. In reality, it wasn't like that. Because he was excellent at avoiding her. She flew into a tree instead of through him. And instead of breaking him down, the happening had strengthened him. Not only his body got stronger, but his mind as well. He was mentally stronger. The more she looked at him, the more she understood how he became a soldier in Ammon like his parents. She adored him. If she had to pick one hero, she'd defiantly would've picked Logen. He started at the bottom, but he soon developed a strength she'd never seen before.

One cold day when he held her, a thunder storm knocked at the door to the nice and worm living room. It was a red carpet on the floor under the also red couch. None pictures except from a cute photography of a little boy on the commode.
"Is that your son?" Sarah asked.
Henry seemed a bit nervous.
"Yes."
"Where is he?"
He didn't answer. Did he keep a secret? A big one? She walked to it and looked closely. She looked at Sarah, afterwards Logen. Then Logen looked at Sarah and Sarah at him. He asked her after a while: "Why are we looking at each other exactly?"
"Oh, you're so sweet" she laughed
"Is it because I am so fabulous?"
She laughed again.
He tried to impress her. All ironic of course. But it worked.
"Love is lame" Sarah spited out.
"Shut up."
"But it's true." she didn't give up that easy.
She looked at her with sadness in her eyes.
"Sarah, don't say that."
She seemed frustrated or hurt somehow. 'Cause she knew very well that love wasn't lame at all. Sarah was really broken. All she wanted was to be held and kissed by her mom. But since she was a ghost, it wasn't possible.
She looked her deep into her eyes.
"Love is not lame. Do you understand me?"
Sarah nodded without a single word. She looked silly, poor girl.
Her stomach tied in knots. She felt sorry for her. Sarah could start crying any minute. She felt so bad that she wasn't able to do anything. Her heart ached for her. Since she'd never been a ghost before, she didn't understand the pain she felt.
"Wait, what was that?" Logen interrupted the silence.
Someone knocked at the door.
"Be careful Logen, you don't know if it's dangerous." Henry warned him as he went to open it.
She tripped quiet over the floor, and was just behind his back to see who it was.
He slowly opened the door with his elbows.
"Dad, what are you doing here?" He shouted surprisingly.
"Be quiet."
He didn't seem to notice it was his son who stood in the door, so he just pushed him away to get to Henry.
"You promised, you promised!"He repeated.
"I know, calm down." Henry said with an anxiety voice.
"I have no time. I need it before my brother knows I'm gone. I need you're gun."
"Maybe that can wait." she said and hoped Gray at least noticed her.
"May, I see you're still alive." he said with dislike in his voice.
"Yep, not even a single wound."
Suddenly he seemed gone, she didn't get contact with him, his face turned white and he gasped loudly.
"L-Logen?"
Tears filled his eyes. And when he saw what The Beast had done to him, he cried out loud and couldn't stop. She was impressed he still had tears left after the many days of crying.
His tears infected the others too. Soon, everybody had tears in their eyes.
After telling everything to his dad, who still cried, he ended by saying: "If it wasn't for May, I'd been dead."
The worlds broke Gray's heart into thousand pieces. He finally understood how important she was to him. With other words; he was addicted to her. I could also said: she meant the world to him. Basically, she meant everything to him.
"When I look at her, I see mom's courage. And she's wearing her armor." he ended.
A big knocking interrupted the fun time.
Henry took a look in the window.
"It's your brother. I think you might be in trouble." He opened the door in a quick move.
Grill pushed him aside and walked straight to Gray, but he stopped and looked for a long time at Logen with big eyes.
"What?" he interrupted himself, which made it only worse.
Then Grill looked at her.
With big eyes he said to her: "You did it." his voice was calm.
A smile colored his face, then it faded a second.
"You're still in trouble" he pointed at Gray.
"Wait! Aunt E. is home alone, right? Isn't that risky?" She said anxious.
"Yes it is." Grill thought. "What do you prefer?" He added.
She thought for a moment, it was completely silent.
"I think some of us should go back to her" she said at last.
"Someone who can fight." she looked at Logen..
"Hey, you say I can't fight? You've seen what I've done so far, or have you been sleeping all this time?"
She sighted.
"I say it's a big risk to take. You still need recovering."
"Whatever" he's voice was hard.

They heard a roar in the distance. It was dangerously close. It was about to find them.
Henry quiet everybody. He listened carefully to it's movements outside the tiny house.
A big black shadow covered the window, the white, lace curtains, was gray because of it.
No one moved. But after a while figure out that it hadn't planes to move, she turned to Logen. He shook of fear. He looked horrified. She put her hand around his neck, and tried to comfort him. After a time, which seemed like forever, the situation only got worse. It started to scratch on the door. And it's big claws made damaging marks in the woods.
Logen was so scared that he hide in the kitchen, poor boy. He sat on the cold floor in Gray's arms. It's understandable since he had experienced terrible pain and torture in the cave filled with rocks. She could still remember it. The big hole in the black ceiling, the smell of blood and yesterdays dinner were inescapable. She retched and tried to not think of the terrible smell.
"Hurry, we can't be here any longer!" Henry yelled through the noise.
"Where's Logen?" He interrupted himself.
"Kitchen." Sarah laughed.
"Sarah, it's not funny."
"Yes, it is." Sarah replied, still laughing.
"He's crying like a little baby. So tell me, where are your dream prince now?"
The others shuddered of her voice.
She just stirred at her with an evil look.
"You thought you were so smart, didn't you?"
"What have you done?" Henry screamed in her face.
"You brought me a monster!"
"Yeah, that's what my mom said to me when I showed myself to her." she said with an screaming voice.
Her feet left the ground, and a wind so cold filled the air and surrounded her like a hurricane. And leafs and dust blew around in the house like a lost boat at the sea.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't know!" She screamed back to Henry.
The noise was so loud that they sincerely not could talk without to yell.
"I'd never thought Sarah was like this!"
"Well, apparently she have these evil thoughts! Nevertheless, we have to get Logen out of here. And after we've got to safety, we'll take different paths. I can't stand your mistakes anymore. You're the reason this monster," he nodded to the door. "Is here at my door."
The words ripped her apart. After all the time they've been working together. He thought for a second. Then he crawled to the commode, opened the highest drawer and pulled a picture out of it. Then he took the photography, of his son, into his pocket. After he was done, he crawled over to her whispering in her ear; "We have to take Sarah down somehow."
"I know." she replied.
"We need a distraction."
"Sarah, what the heck?"
It was Logen.
Sarah pointed a finger on him, and said with a double voice: "You stole my one and only friend!"
He couldn't do anything than stirring speechless in the air.
"This is ridicules!" He shouted up to her.
"You thought you were so smart didn't you?" Sarah repeated.
"What?"
Looked like Logen was the perfect distraction to Henry. As soon he understood they were in a deep conversation, he ran over to the kitchen and grabbed the bag he used when he first met her and Sarah in the woods, and loaded the ghost-gun. He imagined how Sarah looked like in the dark and lonely forest. She was so cute and scared. But deep inside her, was she a little devil. The cute smile and the shaking was all pretending. Maybe she wasn't so scared of the cave as he thought. She wanted her to go alone to save him, while Sarah in the meantime could do what ever she wanted. She tried of course to make sure Logen died to keep her away from him as soon she understood they had a love relationship.
Slowly did he point it on the flying ghost, and pressed the button. Soon the gun made a weird and noisy sound. Sarah swiped out of position and flew in circles. The gun started to eat everything that came in it's way.
He didn't want to do it, but he had no choice. The gun loaded a lightning ball in the sound of a thunderstorm. The lightning ball hit Sarah's back, and flew right through her. And made a big hole in her. She disappeared in a big scream. All of this happened in a blink of an eye.
He ran relived over to her.
"Are you okay." he asked gently.
She nodded, but her eyes was filled with sorrow.
"Why are you sad?" Logen walk towards her.
"She was mental sick anyway."
Henry nodded. "She was."
"I thought she was my friend."
Henry gave her a big warm hug, and Logen followed his example.
"You know, I did recognize her when she told me about why she was afraid of going with you in the forest. She said it happened a long time ago, when King Henry IIX lived."
"That's a long time." Logen said.
She got glimpse in her eyes.
"Henry, I have been dying to ask you about something, but I've changed my mind. I'm not going to ask it at all."
His eyes was calm and focused on only on her. He was so kind and good. She admired him a lot.
"I didn't understand it until I saw you're love for people. When I looked the way you treated Logen I realized it. You say when he lived I'd rather say while he stayed."
"What's you're point May?" he asked her.
"I think we all know what my point is. The question is why you kept it from us."
Henry sighted.
"Well," he began quiet. "The reason why has nothing to do with the people."
"Then why?" Logen asked.
Henry looked both in the eye.
"Sarah."
