She and Logen chased each other through the forest. They laughed and had a lots of fun. Then they arrived to a crystal clear water hole. It shined so beautifully. It was like getting a spell on you. They just stood there and looked at it. It went a long time before one of them walked toward it and keeled down to take a drink. It was cold and fresh, just like her mum's jam. Only that it tasted water instead of strawberries.
"I wonder what your dad will say when we return." she said with a calm voice.
"What if we didn't?" Logen thought loud.
"But we've got to warn the people in Darwell."
He looked at her.
"You're so boring, we don't need to do anything."
"Don't you care? The city of Darwell was given to us because of this cures. Because nobody wanted to live there. Don't you care about your father?"
"Of course I care about him" Logen stump with his foot. "I'm just sick of all of his rules. You can do that, if you don't do it this way. And after sunset you have to do this and not that. I mean, I can handle myself perfectly."
"Hey, hey" She took her hand through his hair, the hand reached his cheek, and there it stayed.
"You are lucky who still have your father. I lost mine, remember?"
"I'm sorry, I am just a bit upset. 'Cause it seems like he tries to hold me back. As if he doesn't want me to meet any girl to fall in love with."
"But if he doesn't want you to fall in love, then why did he let me come this close to you?" She said as she reoved her hand and replaced both on his shoulders.
"I don't know, maybe he saw the potential in you"
She smiled and looked in his deep, blue eyes.

The entire conversation ended up with a big hug. Maybe some tears too? Anyway, they stayed longer and laid in the grass and told each other old stories and legends of Ammon. I think they stayed all day, 'cause the moon showed up. She sat up in a blink of an eye.
"Oh no! It is full moon tonight, we've got to warn the people before the beast shows up!"
"All right." he said unwilling, since he respected her will. "Let's do it quick."
"But after the night we'll leave and start a new life."
She kissed him and laid her head towards his chest.
"Okay" she said with laughter in her voice.
He couldn't stop look at her, she was so beautiful. Everything she was. From her brown hair to her white teeth. He loved even the way she walked. Secretly she loved him in the same way.

"Where have you been?!"
Gray was far from happy. His face showed them a worried face. To be honest, I think he was more furious than worried.
"You said you'll come home before sunset, but what do you do? You came precisely at sunset. You're in big trouble kids, get inside!"
She touched his hand carefully. He nodded.
"Dad, we've got a conversation with a girl and we have to deliver her message to this people."
His face went mysterious when he heard a girl.
"And I had a nice talk with an angle. She promised she would take goo care of you when you die of this idiotic mnster! Now we'll eat dinner."
Gray's face was red now.
"Pleas Gray, we have to do this. It is deadly important. Lifes are in danger."
"People in Darwell listen up!" Logen had already begun, she saw that he finally took the warning from Sarah seriously.
"I know it sounds absurd, but if you wanna live, then listen to me. This women who said she saw this Sarah has spoken the truth!"
"Logen, she is dead!" Gray whispered, angry.
He didn't seem happy to hear about Sarah again.
"We met her, May and I! She's been trying to warn you, people of Darwell, about a big curse. This curse has a shape of a big and dangerous beast. He comes at full moon and leaves at dawn. Please, don't ignore this warning. But if you do I warn you as well, Your deaths are in your own hands!"
It looked like he'd finished. He went quick inside the light, yellow house, followed by her. Without that Gray saw her, she put her hand in his. They went to the window and waited for the darkness to cover the sky, but still they got to wait a few hours, good thing they got each other in company.
Logen's aunt came into the living room just to see them holding hands. A few seconds later Gray got inside and it was gone. His aunt smiled to herself. She knew Gray wouldn't be happy about that. The secret was safe with her. Besides, Logen deserved to have love by his side. Only to see them sit side by side, she knew she was good for his broken heart and soul. It was a moment she'd never forgot.

When they eat dinner, Gray asked about their day as he watched closely to the conversation and to their eyes. He had a skill. If someone lied, he knew it. Just as Logen's aunt's skill was to see the true love in someone's life. If Logen ever got in trouble because of his love to this girl, he would always have his aunt by his side. Which was a good thing, in case if Gray ever would kick her out of the house. So far she got roof over her head, how long it would last, his aunt didn't know. The table shook a bit. That's weird, what was going on? Under the table his aunt could see Logen and her holding hands tight.
"I'm going to bed, it's late" she said and rose from the chair. Then she walked up the stairs.

"You're in big trouble, young man." he said with watchful eyes.
"You have an eye on her, don't you?"
"Well..."you lied, tomorrow she'll leave at dawn."
"Dad, no!" He screamed
"Be quiet, she can hear you! Do you want to wake her up?"
His aunt looked at him with a don't-wake-them-up-look.
"You can't to this, then she'll have no place to stay. And the beast..."
"The beast? Oh Logen, I think you hit you're head to hard this morning." Gray said. "She will leave! My decision is final."
"But..."
"No excuse."
He rose from his chair, and ran to his room. Ten minutes went by, thirty minutes went by, and he was still in tears.
His father stood at the door and listened so his tears.
"What if it's true love?" His aunt came to him. "If you kick her out now, he'll never be the same. He probably hates you right now. How long do you want him to hate you? This evening, or the rest of his life? The choice is yours."

She had a bed, a place to stay, cloths to wear, but she was most thankful for the love in the family. She couldn't imagine a life without him nor Gray. As she shout her eyes and float far, far into dreamland, she heard a roar in the distance.
