Chapter Five-

The Cherry tree

Day-
Friday 💕

Today, almost everything stood still for me. Honestly, I feel like there is something is finally going right. It might be just a weird feeling I should ignore, yet it still makes me feel almost giddy.

It's like I know what's going to happen...yet at the same time I'm clueless. Weird, right?

Maybe the ghosts finally decide to help me? Is the world almost helping me? Or am I being delusional and need help? It could be that.

Anyway, right now I'm in my class mid-test. That explains my absurd thoughts. They always manage to wonder when I'm doing something important. It's obviously the last day of school before we don't have to go to school anymore. It's basically not mandatory but you can still come and help out.

Or meet up with people if you're really bored. I would normally just sleep in, yet I wouldn't manage seeing as since that day, all I can see is Shin's dead body.

Ew.

Back to the test, I was stuck on a certain question and my mind didn't seem to be taking it well. I kept tapping my pencil against the table, making a almost knocking sound.

It was dead silent as everyone was concentrating on finishing on time. All that could be heard was my pencil tapping, many peoples pencils scribbling and a few girls tapping their feet on the floor.

That's when the bell rung loudly, echoing through the room. It also dawned on me; I had been stuck just midway through the sheet. Nevermind then.

I sighed, picking up my sheet and closing it. The teacher collected them and dismissed us. I packed up my books and ran down the stairs to the lockers.

This reminded me of the black haired girl. And trust me, I'm not a lesbian. It's weird, I hadn't really seen her around too much. She was most likely in a different class to me with a different schedule. It happens.

It was currently the end of the day and I walked up to my locker. That's when something I would never ever suspect happened.

A pink letter flew out my locker, landing daintly by my foot. I crouched down and grabbed it, not scrunching it up too much. It had very neat handwriting, and it said: To Oka Ruto.

I threw the rest of my things into the locker and walked to the fountain. The door creaked open and my footsteps echoed as I sat down on the seats.

My heart fluttered as I pulled the envelope from my pocket. Gently, I opened it up, careful not to tear it up. Inside was a small bracelet and a white letter.

I picked the bracelet up and examined it. It had black marbles with small silver speckled around it. I slowly put it down and picked the letter up. Running my hand over the handwriting, I began to read it. My heart beating faster at every word.

Dear Oka,
You might not know me...yet I know you. For some reason, I feel a slight pull towards you. Like meant to be? I guess.

Anyway. You might be creeped out, yet trust me. I...really like you. I've never liked anyone more then you.

Please meet me at the Cherry Tree behind the school.

From Yours truly.

I wonder who it's from, was the only thought that stayed stuck in my head. I sighed and checked the time. The person never said when to meet them there so I might aswell start walking.

Once I put the letter in my pocket, and put the bracelet on, I jogged towards the Cherry Tree. Beneath it stood the love of my life.

"T-taro?!" I squeaked out, my cheeks growing a light pink. His head snapped towards me and he had a warm smile on his face. "H-Hi." He mumbled, rubbing his neck, avoiding my eyes. A light pink coloured his pale cheeks.

"You wanted me?" I asked him weakly. "Y-yeah" he chocked out. "Will you..be...my girlfriend?" Taro said rather quickly. His eyes glazed with hope as he finally met my eyes. I nodded with a weak smile.
