A Month Later ...

                              ~ Brandy's Pov ~

Today is my mommy's 89th birthday! I can't wait to see her later on. Were doing a little barbecue in her backyard and the kids are gonna be able to play or get in the pool.

Omg, I can't believe my mom is turning 89. She's getting closer and closer. Hopefully, she can make it to 100. I don't know. It would be a blessing.

Today is the day that Rach and my mom are finally gone see each other after 2 weeks of silent.

Odell texted me saying he was gonna meet Harmony and I there because he has morning practice to get to.

After leaving my hair damp and down. I decided to leave my curls in. Harmony is still sleeping for her hour nap.

But I parted my hair in the middle and then I put my clothes on.

I was wearing : ( A / N : i didn't feel our writing all this down like a paragraph )

● My blue high waisted shorts

● My white birthday shirt that somebody made for my mom's birthday. I ordered me and Harm one. ( A / N : Yall know the shirts I'm talking bout like if somebody died or something and it got their picture and stuff on it. )

● My gold sandles

● And a few jewelry with my make up.

After I was ready, I sprayed some perfume on myself and lotioned my legs and arms. 

I then went to Harm's room turning on the light. "Harm, Harm, wake up." She got up and held her arms out for me to pick her up. I picked her up and kissed her cheeks.

She laid her head on my chest. "Did you sleep good?" I asked. I ran her a little bath water. She nodded and climbed out of my arms.

After bathing her, I slipped her on a diaper and she waited.

I got her dress in the same thing like me except she wore regular jean shorts and I put her curly hair into a pony tail with her bow.

"Alright your ready?" She nodded jumping. I smiled and picked her up. I grabbed her diaper bag, my phone, purse, and keys.

I had to put Harmony down. "Hold mommy's keys."

We made it to my mom's house and a few cars were already here. We walked to the back and seen cousins, uncles, aunts, and neices and nephews.

I picked Harmony up and went bring our stuff upstairs in her room that She had here.

We went back downstairs and my mom was sitting at the table talking to my Uncle Phil.

"Hey Mama, happy birthday." I hugged and kissed her. She got up and took Harmony.

"Hey my baby." She said. "Tell Mawmaw happy birthday." I said.

"Haffy...Bir." She said. I smiled and rubbed her back.

"Is Rach coming?" She asked. I nodded looking at my phone and putting my glasses on my face. "She should be coming." I said.

"Oh. Y'all go eat." She gave me Harmony and I went to the table greeted people, and fixed our food.

                            ~ Rachel's Pov ~

We got out the car and Spot grabbed my hand. I'm 50/50 on coming here. But its whatever.

"Don't worry baby. You got the card?" I nodded and sighed. We walked to the back and I seen family everywhere.

I seen my sister talking to one of our cousins. "Hey sis, where's mama?" I asked.

"Oh great, your here! Mom!" I looked at Spot. He rubbed my back and my mother approached us. It was quiet for a moment between us.

"Um..Happy Birthday." I handed her the gift. She pulled my arm pulling me into her arms hugging me. I then felt my shoulder wet. Knowing she was crying broke me down.

"Omg Rach I'm sorry." She cried. I wiped my tears and hugged her back. "I'm sorry too mama." I cried.

After that little moment, we talked. I introduced her to Spot, and we went eat.

                             ~ Odell's Pov ~

"And how much for this car?" I asked. "This baddie here is only $100k." He said. I nodded.

"Not bad. Ima take it." I filled out some papers and told my cousin he could go.

Today, I know is Ms. Linda's birthday. And her favorite car is a Mercedes Benz. So out of love, im gonna buy her this Benz that she always wanted.

I took my shower and stuff and got dressed and came here.

I can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees this. I know Brandy gonna love me.  I'm planning on asking her to be mines tonight now.

Ms. Linda's House...

I greeted everyone and I picked up my baby girl. She wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Happy birthday Ms. Linda." I hugged her. "Aw Thank you baby." She smiled.

"EXCUSE ME! CAN I HAVE EVERYONE TO GO OUT FRONT?" I grabbed Ms. Linda's hand and picked Harmony up holding her on my forearm and everyone walked to the front. "Happy Birthday Ms. Linda." She seen the white Mercedes-Benz and hee mouth dropped.

"Odell...This isn't mines." She said. "Yes mam it is. I know its your favorite car. Happy Birthday." I handed her the keys. She hugged me crying. I'm sure tears of joy.

Everyone was in shock.

I led her to her new car. She got inside feeling everywhere. "This is so nice. How much was it?" She asked.

"100k."

"Damn." She said. I laughed to myself. "Maw Maw." Harmony got down climbing into Ms. Linda's lap.

"You like maw maw's new car?"

She nodded. I smiled. I felt a arm on my back. I turned seeing Brandy. I hugged her. "Hey." I said.

"Hey." She said.

"This was nice of you. She's so happy." She said. I nodded in agreement.

Everyone walked back to the back. "Can I talk to you?" She nodded. We went sit on the porch.

I'm ready to ask Brandy to officially be mines. And i know she probably ready.

Hopefully, she don't say no.

"Wassup?"

"Well. I really am deeply in love with you Brandy. For real. I'm ready to come home and stay. That's why I'm asking you..and I'm foreal this time. Will you give me another chance?"

Brandy blushed nodding. "For real?" - "Yeah." She said. I smiled pulling her on my lap and kissing her.

" I love you. " I said.

" I love you too. " she said.

Yes! I got my baby back.
