I decided to go to the center of Sydney,the city I was living at.After wandering for about one hour in the city, I felt like wanting to drink something,so I stopped at a local cafeteria and ordered a cappuccino while opening my laptop to complete an assignment I had to fill for tommorow. That's right. Tommorow I was starting the basic cooking lessons and I was feeling pretty excited about that and I couldn't wait for the lessons to begin. When my coffee arrived at the table,the waiter took a look at my computer screen and immediately asked me
"Are you also applying for the cooking classes?"
"Yeah what about you;"
"Yeahh me too.I'm Luke,nice to meet you"
"I'm Josephine . Nice to meet you too.Are you working here;"
"Yeah I have started a week ago.I live on my own so someone must get the money"
"Sure...umm because I'm new at the city,would you mind showing me around;"
"Yeah it would be my pleasure.Especially to a beautiful girl like you..."
I laughed at the comment and patted luke on the shoulder playfully. Luke firstly decided to show me the beach so we started walking for around 10 minutes. Luke was asking me so many things and I told him about my life in England and my parents and generally my opinion about Australia.
"Are you really from London? I thought you were from Sweden or something because of your pale skin!!" Luke exclaimed surprised. It was true. I had really pale skin and brown long hair and my eyes were a bit grey and green mixed together.
"You are not the only one who tells me that. Everyone thinks that I come from a north county but yeahh I'm from London"
"Well okay then British girl. Your accent is really different too. Wow I haven't heard British for a really long time"Luke said.
"You guys are speaking so fast in here.Slow down!!" I exclaimed playfully.
"I think I better go home because its getting dark out here don't you think? We also have our first lesson tomorrow don't forget!".
"Yeah don't worry I wont.Do you want me to walk you home? Is it far away?"
"No I'm fine I'm going to go with the bus thanks.Also thanks for the showing it was cool. I'll see you tomorrow. Bye Luke!"
