He's in the kitchen.
Frying pan in hand.
Eggs and ham. With spinach on the side.
That's
breakfast?
"Good morning, sleeping beauty."
He's in an apron and busily working away.
I stand dumbstruck.
Then I find my voice, stuck in my throat from
astonishment.
"What
are you doing
in my kitchen?!"
"Making breakfast."
"Where did you get those bins
in my room?!"
"I went to the Target close by
and bought them."
"Why are walking out of my apartment,
buying stuff, and
coming back like nothing's going on?!"
"Because there is nothing going on."
"The neighbors will think..."
I face palm and hand my head.
What am I doing so early in the morning
yelling my head off at this
stranger.
