-Makoto's POV-
Makoto:*I gasped as I watched Akemi fall backward* Akemi!!!!! *I quickly caught her before she hit the ground. I quickly tried to shake her awake* Akemi! Wake up!
Akemi:*lays there, unconscious*
Makoto:*I gently shook her again* Come on, Akemi! Wake up!
Akemi:*still unconscious*
Makoto:*I cursed under my breath* No good. She won't wake up!
Hina:*eyes widen in horror* Is she-?!
Makoto:*I shook my head* No. Just unconscious. *I watched as Taka snapped out of his sad state and walk up to Akemi*
Taka:*kneels beside her* A...Akemi...*trying to hold back his tears*
Makoto:Taka...
Byakuya:*scoffs* Frightened by something such as a simple execution! How sad that she doesn't have the same mental fortitude as myself!
*Taka growled in anger and quickly jumped to Akemi's defense*
Taka:How dare you?! She just lost someone important to her! Someone she cared deeply for!!!!
Byakuya:*angrily* As if I give a f-! *quickly composes himself and sighs* That's not a word nor language I will use. I simply don't care for anyone but myself.
Taka:*eyes narrow as he clenches his fists* You son of a-! *rears his fist back, ready to attack Togami*
Makoto:*I gasped and quickly grabbed his wrist before he struck Togami* Taka, no! He's not worth it!
Taka:*eyes full of pain* But Togami-!
Makoto:*I shook my head, keeping a firm grip on his wrist* Never mind Togami. Forget about him. What's more important right now is Akemi. She needs medical attention. Monokuma said the nurse's office is open. We have to get her to the Nurse's Office!
Taka:*lowers his fist and sighs* You're right, Naegi. *walks up to Akemi* I'll take her.
Makoto:*I simply nodded*
Taka:*picks her up and gasps* Sh-she's burning up!
Makoto:*My eyes widened* Then let's get her there, fast!!!
*Everyone nodded and we quickly ran there*
-Nurse's Office, Hours Later-
((Taka's POV))
Taka:*I sobbed softly as I held Akemi's hand. Why was this happening to her? She didn't deserve to lose the man she loved...She didn't deserve to watch him die...She didn't deserve...Any of this! I sobbed harder* Not you too...You can't die too! I...I promised Mondo...!!! *More tears fell down my cheeks as I recalled that promise*
-Flashback (After the Endurance Contest; No one's POV)-
Mondo:Bro, there's somethin' I want you to promise me.
Taka:*smiles and nods* Anything, bro!
Mondo:If...If somethin' happens to me...Murder, execution, whatever....Promise me...That you'll take care of Akemi for me. That you won't let anything bad happen to her.
