"You must awaken NOW!"

I wake up in shock and panic. My eyes wander aimlessly around to see that I am in a pod. Wait I'm in a pod. I'M IN A FREAKING POD. No no no noooooo! I struggle to get out but my wrists and ankles are chained to the pod. I begin to hyperventilate. Being in a pod is absolutely my worst fear. I never thought I would be in this position like that girl in the video I watched four years ago being experiment on and later killed by scientists. No they can't put me in here and experiment on me. My chest is puffing in and out and my heart is racing a million beats. I feel like I couldn't breathe. They're going to kill me. They're going to kill me. I feel my hands glow intensely with electricity ready to glitch.

"No, No, NOOO! Get me out of here!" I screamed as I fight to get free. I'm in a pod. No, no, this can't be happening. I feel like I'm going through a panic attack. My heart thumps louder the longer I am in here. I try to pull my wrists from the chain but they don't budge. I look around and see Robin, Aqualad, and Kid Flash all trapped in pods and Superboy in front of us. All of their eyes were on me.

"Electrica, calm down. Just relax." Robin says. "Calm down? We're in freaking pods!" I shouted trying to free myself.

"I can't, I can't calm down Rob!" I breathe out heavily. "We have to get out. Before they...I just want to get out! I feel the air is thinning in here" I panic.

Then I see Superboy staring straight at me probably confused of why I was acting nervously and scared.

"Electrica, are you alright?" Wally asks in concern.

"Maybe she's claustrophobic?" Robin replies.

"But she was fine in elevator." Wally adds. Their voices muffled in my ears. All I'm focusing right is to get out before anyone tries to experiment on me and kill me.

" What do you want!?" Wally yells at Superboy. Superboy narrows his eyes at him and turns back to stare at me.

" Uh. KF, how about we not tick-off the guy who can fry us with a look?"

" We only sought to help you." Aqualad says calmly.

" Yeah. We free you and you turn on us! You almost killed us! How's that for-" Aqualad cuts off Wally.

" Kid, please, be quiet now" Aqualad says trying to shut Flashboy up. " I believe our new friend was not in full control of his action."

"What-What if-What if I wasn't?"

" Woah, he can talk?" Wally asked surprised.

" Not like I said 'it'."

" Quit staring at her! You creep!" Wally yells. I look over at Wally with my eyes widened. Superboy continued staring at me during my panicked state.

"I can hear your heartbeat beating loudly meaning your frightened and panicked." Superboy says to me.

"I'm sorry." I apologize but not really knowing why. "I just...I just can't handle the idea of being in the a pod." I slowed down my breathing. Come on, Scarlette. Don't panic. You'll get out of this. Just calm down.

" The Genomorphs taught you. Telepathically." Aqualad states.

" They taught me much. I can read. Write. I know the names of things."

Robin starts talking to Superboy trying to bring some sense into him. I shut them out focusing how to get out of here. The chains are made out of metal so maybe I could melt them. I slowed down my breathing and focus on heating my hands. I grab the metal cuffs with my fingers and burn the metal. The metal chains burned against my fingerless gloves but I didn't mind. The smell of burning metal fills the limited air inside this pod; however, I manage to melt the chain. I put my hands back in case so I didn't get caught. Now I just need to worry about the chains on my feet. I look back to the Superboy.
