Punch after punch, the huge mud-like monster Clayface started to knock us all of like little bugs. Artemis, M'gann, and Wally were already lying down unconscious. Clayface begins pounding on Superboy while Superboy blocks every punch with his arms crossed before his face. I run towards him to help, but I get thrown back by a giant mud ball and hit my head against a wall. Vision suddenly disappearing, I drop down and accept defeat.

Mount Justice

After the mission, we learned that Batman came and intervened to stop Clayface.

"I need to talk to Aqualad. The rest of you. Hit the showers and head home." Batman orders. After the mission meeting, Aqualad and Batman have a little chat. I still had a bunch of brown goop on my uniform from Clayface so I headed to the showers. After a quick a shower, I stroll to the kitchen to get a water bottle from the fridge. As soon as I closed the fridge door, Wally's face pops right in front now. I scream and jump back in surprise.

"Whoa sorry. Didn't mean to scare you!" He says.

"It's okay. You are very sneaky, Flashboy," I reply as I take a sip from my water bottle.

"So umm..." He starts, eyes gazing down at the floor. "My folks are celebrating the Original Flash's birthday at my house. And I was just wondering do you want to come over to dinner? My mom makes great food." Wally asks me nervously.

"Wow Flashboy. You really want me to meet your parents that early," I joke with a sly smile. Suddenly, his face flushes with a deep scarlet red. "No. No" he waves his arms around. "I didn't mean it like that. I just meant...like..um. I thought you would like some dinner you know. I know you're not my girlfriend or anything but you are a friend who's a girl so--"

"Flashboy," I cut him off. "I'm just kidding. It's just fun messing around with you."

"Oh," he says and then breathes out a sigh of relief. "So can you come over?"

"Oh I would love to come. I do. But, I have dinner with the Arrow family at my house. My aunt is inviting Green Arrow and Roy over so Roy and I could hopefully settle our differences but I doubt that," I say, grimacing at the thought of seeing Roy again.

"Wow Roy's coming over. Do you think that'll really work?"

"I really don't know. I just hope that I don't kill him before dessert. Anyway, if it goes terrible, save me a piece of cake if I come over."

"Deal. Anything for you, beautiful," he replies as he smiles at me. "Good luck with that, Scar."

"Thanks, Flashboy." I return a grin to him, and he speeds off back home. Looking at the exit, I sigh in nervousness in fear of what will be the outcome of this "family" dinner.

Star City

August 27, 15:37 PST

At my apartment, Aunt Dinah and I started preparing for dinner. For the main meal, my Aunt is making her delicious spaghetti. While she is boiling the pasta, I am chopping the tomatoes and preparing the sauce.

"Make sure you don't chop off your fingers, Scar," she warns me like a concerned mother.

"Aunt Dinah," I say causing her to turn her head to look at me. "Why are we inviting Roy over? I mean I don't mind Oliver at all. I love him like an uncle but really, you know how I feel about Roy's presence," I remark.

"Look Scar. Ollie and I think it's about time you two should get along," she says.

"You do realize that Ollie and him don't get along after what happened."
